My wife was thrilled when she received it as a gift, and the first few uses yielded beautiful results. However, our excitement quickly turned to frustration when the Airwrap suddenly stopped working on the fourth use. We were out of town, but thankfully, Dyson's customer service was friendly and helpful over the phone. The representative walked me through troubleshooting steps, but when that didn't work, he insisted on a video conference to watch me repeat the process. While I understand the need for thoroughness, it felt a bit excessive and inconvenient. The real disappointment came when the representative informed us that we would have to return the defective unit before they would send a replacement. Considering the high price of the Airwrap (nearly $500), I was shocked that they wouldn't expedite the process to ensure customer satisfaction. We were left without a working product for an entire month, which was unacceptable. Thankfully, the replacement unit finally arrived and has been working well so far. However, the initial experience left a sour taste in our mouths. While the Airwrap is undoubtedly a great product when it functions properly, the lack of urgency and customer-centric solutions from Dyson during our time of need was disappointing. Overall, I would recommend the Dyson Airwrap with caution. It's a fantastic styling tool, but be prepared for potential hiccups and a less-than-ideal customer service experience if you encounter any issues.
