Posted .Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to learn that in your use, you've found that the Airwrap Volume + Shape Styler isn't holding a curl in your hair. The Airwrap™ can deliver a variety of styles from voluminous curls, waves to a smooth finish. However, the end result varies and depends on a combination of factors – hair type, hair length, settings you use the product at or how wet the hair is before styling. If your experiencing curls dropping out, a few tips to help improve would be ensuring the hair is damp before styling, that the barrels are held in place until the hair is dry, and to use the cold shot to set the curls.
If you begin your hair wet, and use the pre-styling dryer prior to curling, you may wish to not dry your hair as much, and then when using the barrels to curl, ensure the hair is completely dry before releasing. If you start with dry hair and use a spray bottle to dampen hair, you may not be getting the hair wet enough prior to using the barrels. You can also experiment with a styling/setting spray once complete to help hold the curls. Dyson airwrap stopped working suddenly

I was half way drying my hair and the dyson airwrap stopped working. I was surprised to see that brand like Dyson is having issue with their appliance. I followed all the troubleshooting steps and it stopped without any indication for the filter. I’m yet to connect Dyson. But this is not something anyone would expect from brand like Dyson.

Posted .Hello Hema, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Airwrap does feature a filter that requires regular maintenance, to prevent the device from overheating and shutting off. If the machine shuts off and you see flashing lights, this would be alerting you to clean the filter, which you can do by following the steps in this video here --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWpNmLxzt9g

The Dyson Airwrap comes with two barrels, and the barrels indicate the direction the machine will wrap your hair. The Dyson Airwrap styler uses the Coanda technology to wrap your hair around the barrels for you, for styling, so you don't have the trouble of your hair flying around and to ensure your style works for both sides of your face and head.

Barrels, Barrels, Barrels for Soft Waves & Volume
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Complete Set has two different sizes of barrels. The barrels are the star of the Airwrap tool. Barrels create lovely waves and volume. It takes a bit to learn the right level of hair dampness and amount of hair per curl. Demonstration tip to create tension is a great tip. I played around with blower and heat settings too, also helps to get this to work best with individual hair types. The round brush could be made better, bristles are not strong enough to create the amount of tension needed for a sleek polished end style. Unless I use two hands with smoothing brush, hair flyaways and frizz result. I think the barrels are they stars and both sizes are not included in this set. For me, brush attachments are disappointing as is the the case because can't be carried, no handles. Bottom line, I have never been able to use hot curling iron tools but I can use these barrels to create soft waves and volume on shoulder length hair. Recommend using both size barrels. Can't recommend the brushes at this price point. The dryer is a rough dry only, there is no concentrated air flow attachment for two-handed "sleek" styling with polished ends.

We do have three different models of the Airwrap available: Smooth + Control, Volume + Shape or the Complete. Both Complete and Smooth + Control kits have both barrel sizes. The dryer attachment isn't intended for a full dry, but rather a wet-to-damp, to get your hair ready for styling.
