It was time to replace my old vacuum and I’m glad I bought this Dyson. I absolutely love it. It has ample attachments, it picks EVERYTHING up! And I love how nice it looks, looks fancy.

So far this vacuum is good. It does a pretty good job. Not a huge fan of taking the handle apart any time I want to use an attachment. But suction is solid. Also am not a fan of non of the attachments actually able to be stored on the vacuum. Well 2 small ones but 4 others I have to store in a closet. I wish it all could fit. Also when I roll it not on sometimes it just falls into place to vacuum instead of just roll. Minor complaints. But I do like the vacuum

I rate this vacuum five stars for its powerful suction, which performs impressively. However, I need a vacuum suitable for my entire home, which includes hardwood floors, carpets, and thinner rugs (not throw rugs) under my dining table, couch, near doors, and by the stairs. The product description claims it automatically adjusts for different floor types, but it struggles with my thinner rugs on hardwood floors, sucking them up and causing issues. Additionally, using it on stairs is cumbersome, as you must carry the entire vacuum while cleaning each step, which is inconvenient. Overall, it’s a solid vacuum, but these limitations prevent it from meeting all my needs.

This vacuum is amazing! The suction is outstanding and it's easy to maneuver. Makes my carpet look new; brushes the fibers and gets even the finest dirt out. Highly recommend.

THIS is the upright of choice if you are going to buy a Dyson. There are a few models out there. I like this because it has plenty of attachments and boy, does it suck! It really does the job! Maybe a little too well at times, it is hard to push it sometimes once that vacuum pressure is on a carpet. This is a good way to build up some muscle. Beware those with weak upper body strength, this might not work for you. The one thing I would like now is a wall mount for the extra tools.

This is my second Dyson upright machine. I still use my original orange “ball” vacuum but wanted another for the second floor as carrying that machine was getting to be too much for me. The top three things I love about this model are the long cord, amazing suction and the additional tools. No trouble maneuvering the machine over carpet, area rugs, and vinyl flooring. There are only two minor things on this machine that could be improved. First, the piece that you wind the cord around at the top seems kinda flimsy. It could stand to be sturdier since we wrap and unwrap that cord constantly. Secondly, the release to put the handle into a vacuuming position is hard to get used to. My older Dyson, (20 years), had a foot lever to release the vacuum from its upright position. That’s the reason I took away one star. You can’t beat the performance of this machine! I highly recommend! We do not have any pets so I cannot comment on how well it works on pet hair. We are in our 70’s and found this machine easy to assemble and easy to navigate from carpet to bare floors! Try it for yourself!!!

The suction is spot on, the only thing I hate about this machine is that it’s difficult to move from room to room, like the front end goes down instead of being able to pop it into a wheelie position. That might not make sense until it happens to you. Also, the hose for attachments is super stiff making it difficult to run along base boards and such. Hopefully it will loosen up a bit over time. The suction is 10 stars though!

Does a great job and all the attachments you could ask for. Cord more than long enough. A bit heavier than I expected but still much lighter than my last vacuum.

The vacuum works extremely well—the suction power is incredible. The first time I used it, I filled the canister completely, which really showed me how much my old vacuum had been leaving behind. The suction is almost too strong, giving me quite a workout, and I’ll need to figure out how to adjust it since my wife finds it a bit difficult to use. That said, it truly pulls everything out of the carpet and leaves nothing behind. The attachments work great, though the extension hose is a little stiff and not as flexible as I’d like when fully extended. It still gets the job done, though, and overall I’m very happy with how well this vacuum performs.

powerful suction but the design is not as good as my last Dyson, falls over and difficult to lift out the long suction piece to add smaller tools, difficult to get back together. Wish they had kept old design (much better), very expensive also.

This is my second Dyson vacuum and again, I’m extremely impressed. The first one I had was a wireless vacuum and it was versatile but I was looking for something with more power. The amount of quality and attention to detail Dyson puts into their products is unmatched. My wife has been using it for the past 2 weeks and she loves how quick it picks up anything in its path. It definitely saves us a lot of time from having sweep all the time and picking after our son who likes to make a lot mess. It also came with a lot of attachments for corners and upholstery which is a plus. Only thing to keep in mind is that the vacuum is big and needs its own area to store it. Overall definitely worth what you’ll spend on it.

Love it, gets a lot of dirt from carpet, sometimes a little hard to push on rugs because of the intense suction, but it’s fine with me for its effectiveness. Definitely beat vacuum I’ve owned

This vacuum is the best I have ever owned. The canister is large, so no need to keep stopping to empty. It literally gets every peice of hair/fuzz/ dirt. My carpets look great, honestly. A little heavy and awkward, but I’m also short…but I guess that’s what you trade off for a good high powered vacuum.

This vacuum sucks up dirt and dust and pet hair with great suction. Very powerful and light. Comes with many useful attachments. Solid build a very good profuct.

I really want to love my new vacuum, as I have loved it's predecessor for the last 15 years, but I really barely like it. It is very heavy and awkward to move around plus, although I have 3 dogs and should welcome it's cleaning power, it actually has too much suction power making it impossible to use on many of my carpets.

Awesome vacuum! This has all the attachments you need and some you don't. It has great suction and is not too heavy to use comfortably. It is easy to push and maneuver.

Holy crap I love this thing on my normal carpeted floors. The brush/aggitator is the best I've ever used. Partnered with the crazy suction it does an amazing job. Love the hose for dusting and most of my stairs. The detangling tool works wonders and is the perfect size for the vertical section of my stairs. My only complaint is the hose isn't long enough to get to all my stairs so the last 4 are a struggle holding the vacuum and managing the hose, I would just park it at the top for those last ones but it's too light so it won't stay put and the angle is a little awkward. Would be nice if you could lock the wheels in place. Definitely wouldn't pay the full $630 but picked it up for around $350 and would say it's well worth that as long as it holds up for a few years.

I have never had another vacuum that performs like a Dyson...other than another Dyson! It was absolutely shocking what this vacuum picked up AFTER the carpet had been swept with the old vacuum that was the "highest rated" by a so-called "consumer" magazine made now-defunct big-store brand! Requires very little effort to push on even high pile carpets and the maneuverability is outstanding. The long cord allows me to reach the entire floor of the house from a central plugin. Only bad thing I'd say about is the lack of a tool holder is somewhat inconvenient and the handhelds are kind of awkward. It also takes some DIY thinking to assemble the unit. Instructions are poor/non-existent. That being said of the product...Dyson customer support is absolutely ABYSIMAL! Possibly the worst I have ever dealt with in my life!
