Stretchable vacuum hose destroys the useability

My wife and I both gave it a shot and quickly said, "No go, make it gone!' The expandable plastic vacuum tubing is far too stiff and is always trying to too forcefully shrink when you need it extended. I takes too much of an effort to stretch it and it never maintains the full length. You need to continually stretch it out again. It's like you are battling the stretchable tubing to do the work you want to do. I was very surprised at how unacceptable this is and how popular the Dyson balls are. I would never buy one of these again.

Best vaccum I’ve ever used!

It shuts itself off. It also does “click” to stand up. I have to force it to stay standing. I was looking forward to this vacuum for so long and hate it.

My last couple of cordless vacuums were Dyson and I was really impressed with them. Instead of buying another corded Hoover, I thought I'd give this Dyson a chance. I am so glad I did. Sometimes you need a little extra power and I find that a corded vacuum does that when you need extra cleaning power. This vacuum performed like a champ.

Tried shark but returned to Dyson with this purchase. It is a great cleaning machine. Just wish the handle formation was better when using wand. And I do miss the light that the shark had. Otherwise very pleased.

It will not snap back into the resting position after you stop vacuuming. It falls over because it is not balanced. The cord is always in the way. It does pick up dirt well but that is the only redeeming feature of this Dyson. I owned a Dyson before and loved it.
