Suction on vacuum is very strong but too strong for throw rugs & very difficult to push on pile carpets. Really disappointing. This Dyson model obviously didnt undergo in home testing before going into production.

Worst Vacuum Ever!

Just after the return date the brushes stopped working. It runs for about 5 min or so and then the brushes shut off and just don’t work. They won’t turn back on either. Of course Best Buy and Dyson won’t do anything. I can only vacuum my wood floors now. Waste of $400.

Because the suction was too strong and and there was no way to adjust it had to return it.

The basic action to switch between the floor brush and the handle regularly does not work without manual intervention, which makes it a huge pain to use—a real time suck.

I have low pile carpet in about half my house and this vacuum is useless on it. The cleaning head jams and you have to turn the vacuum off to move it. I’m not talking shag carpet, just regular carpet. Best Buy won’t let me return it and Dyson wot help either. A total waste of $300!

Awful to use

I find the build quality to be cheap. It feels like a low quality vacuum. You have to really make an effort to lock it into the upright position or it will fall over. Happened to me several times. The way the wand is designed is ridiculous, once you figure out how to release it. I had to look it up on the internet. The carpet cleaning is very good. This is the 4th Dyson product I have bought including the V12 cordless vacuum and 2 hot-cold fans. All are not worth the money. Not even close. I will never buy another Dyson product!

I'm not sure how it works with the cyclone technology to capture dirt, dust, and allergens. Here's what I like: Pros: Strong Suction: Dyson is known for its powerful suction, and this fits the mold! It can pull up rugs, but has these nice red things that can be moved up which helps. HEPA Filtration: The HEPA filter traps microscopic dust particles and allergens, reducing allergens in your home and improving indoor air quality. Pretty cool feature. Maneuverability: The Ball steering technology allows the vacuum to turn corners and navigate around furniture with ease. The Promo price is hot on this!

I recently needed to purchase one for my parents and this one did no disappoint. It was so easy to assemble and quickly showed my parents how much dirt was in their carpet. Another win for Dyson!!

Dyson said the repair would be free, but the part was on backorder and continued to be on back order for 3-4 months. We are currently on our 3rd waiting list for a new head and the free warranty is about to expire. Absolute JUNK.
