I am not totally sold on the ball system yet but I have not used it enough to fall in love or hate it. The suction has been improved over the years and I loved the old version. Overall, still a great machine.

I had a couple carpets that were pretty bad and one I was ready to throw away. After using the Shark Animal 3, the carpets are good again. I was shocked at how well it works.

Great cord length and quiet

It has plenty of cord which seems like a silly brag until you realize how much more you can clean without stopping to u plug it and move to a different outlet. It is insanely quiet also which is great for napping kids, as that is the only time we have to clean. We are loving it!

It appears to be built well, with quality parts, and seems solid. There are plastic pieces but seems like it will last. This cleans the floor very well, much better than any other vacuum I’ve owned over the years, and I love the self hair cleaning head. Having a wife and daughters with long hair, this is a huge bonus. We’ve had no issues so far. The only negative thing I can say is that the top cord wrap is attached to the hand vacuum piece. In order to use the handheld vacuum piece, the entire cord must be removed which is quite annoying for quick handheld vacuum jobs. The vacuum is so good overall though I won’t knock off a star Also, it’s not heavy. I was worried about this based on the reviews but it’s not heavy. It may be heavier than some, but definitely wouldn’t consider it heavy or difficult to maneuver. Another negative is the instructions for assembly. The instructions are somewhat terrible. They tried to simplify the instructions but made the instructions inadequate in doing so and difficult to follow and understand.

Few years ago I was tricked by advertising and chose a Shark product instead of a Dyson. The adds were very convincing and well done. Now I see that Shark is not even half of a Dyson. So, don’t believe the Adds. Dyson is a Top product way ahead …..

Zero issues, works great on my carpet, rugs, and is much lighter than my old one. I would highly recommend this Dyson. Lots of my family and friends own them as well and they have similar prasies as well.

Dyson does it again!

That one died and this seemed like the perfect replacement. Great suction, they extended the length of the hose, changed the ball to more of a plastic than rubber so hair doesn't stick to it. Love my Dyson!

It gets the job done just like the older version, the manueverability is alittle more stiff but there are different upgrades on this compared to the old. Its still brand new to me but I would recommend if your looking for another Dyson vacuum.
