Great vacuum

Using the attachments is basically pointless but for doing carpets it works 100x better than any shark! I would be hesitant to recommend if you don’t have a second vacuum to do the detail work of attachments.

Posted .Hi Evan, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you had some issues with the hose on your Ball Animal 3. The hose will be rather stiff at first. The more it's stretched and used, the more pliable and flexible we'd expect for that to be. You can fully outstretch the hose, and leave it like that overnight, which will help the hose to relax some. Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The ball feature is nice, however, Dyson engineers/marketing added more weight than our previous discontinued Dyson upright model (at least 15 years old). Due to the mass centered around the ball it is much more awkward to push and control. The ball design would be more user friendly if it was lighter or if the center of mass was redistributed to improve ergonomics and less wrist fatigue.

When compared to the previous Ball Animal 2 model, Ball Animal 3 actually weighs less. The majority of owners have found that due to the ball technology, the vacuum is easier to steer into difficult places. Also, this helps give the machine a more streamlines profile, allowing access to tight spaces and lowering the center of gravity to make the vacuum lighter in the hand.
