Extremely Bad Design

The Dyson model is worthless IMO. I cannot push it even switching to bare floor on my carpet, suction is too strong. Only works when pulled backwards. Also the front part that has the bristles etc keeps falling off and is very hard to get back in place. This is a VERY poor design and my next vac will NOT be a Dyson. Save your $$ and walk away from this vacuum. Wouldn't send unless one star was picked-deserves ZERO stars

I have mixed area rugs + flooring throughout my house, and this vacuum adjusts to all my flooring needs.

The only thing I would recommend is making it easier to use the suction when your take it out from the vacuum it’s not very flexible

Rest assured, the hose will become more flexible with time and use. Aside from attaching your accessories directly to your hose to stretch the elasticity of this part, we also recommend stretching the part of the hose that is nearest to the vacuum first when extending this part to clean your home.
We would also recommend checking to ensure the wand is not obstructed and that the hose is not sucking into itself as the hose is not something we would expect to be an issue during use.

However, after assembly and minor testing I packaged it back up and returned it. From the moment I took it out of the box I couldn't believe how cheap it felt. The handle is thin plastic, the cord hooks feel cheap and the entire structure feels like it made of flimsy plastic. It doesn't have a foot release so getting it into position to vacuum is awkward at best. It's wobbly and doesn't like to stay in an upright position. The back "wheels" are thin pieces of plastic and don't feel right. Also, it's a hassle to try and move while upright because it doesn't stay upright. The suction is great, but that's about it. Not at all worth the price tage.

That is a long time for a vacuum. This vacuum is a little heavier than the prior one. It doesn't glid as easy as before
