    I have never used a vacume that frustrates me as much as this one did. Already returned this cheap, worthless vacumme. This Dyson is nothing like the one I owned for almost 20 years. Everything about this vacume is bad. Dyson quality has gone straight into the gutter. There is nothing good to say about this machine.

    The worst vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. The vacuum hose is hard to use. It gets stopped up every time we use it. (No dogs in the house.) It is junk.

    Worst vacuum ever not user friendly at all, Hose feature looks good in picture but in person unmanageable. Keeps collapsing on its self. Wouldn't recommend ever.

    I am not impressed with this vacuum. Its hard to push and isnt easy to use the hose. I should have returned it.

    Terrible product. Way to heavy to use and the ball prevents you from getting underneath objects. I returned the product because it was unusable for my wife

    Great purchase, quality parts

    The Dyson has been great for our 4000 square foot house. We have a big 120 pound dog and this helps get all the hair and dust that he tracks in. I will empty the bin a few times just during one vacuum session as it cleans do deep. It’s also very easy to clean and maintain which justifies the higher price compared to others.

    I hated spending the money but it was actually well worth it - especially with pets. The suction is good. The length of the cord is great. I know other reviews complain about not being able to maneuver very well but I haven't had any issues with that. It seems to move perfectly fine on all my area rugs and carpets. My only personal complaint is I miss the automatic cord winding feed that my other vacuum had. That's it. The directions did not have any info on where the attachments attached to but I googled it and found it quick enough. Overall, so far, it was well worth the money and I feel it will last a long while.

    Game changer!!!!

    We purchased this about 2 months ago and I absolutely love it. I had a Bissell before and it did fine on normal messes, but I have a border collie. There are precious little hairs EVERYWHERE no matter how much I vacuum. The Dyson Ball Animal has changed the game! It catches dog hair, dirt, and grime that I didn’t even know was there! My rugs and floors have never been cleaner. I absolutely recommend this vacuum for anyone with pets (or who just want a clean feeling and looking home) because it does the trick! It’s so easy to handle and the cord is so long. I absolutely recommend.

    I wanted to leave a review for the Animal 2, but that’s not here anymore. I assume the 3 improves on the 2. That said, after 5-years with the 2 I have to say it’s a BEAST. I make that statement with the admission I haven’t (until recently) taken good care of it! I dumped it, cleaned the roller…, but I didn’t GET UP IN THERE and clean ALL the tubes and hoses on the regular. I’m JUST changing the filters. I have two dogs and it was STILL picking up tons of hair. After good cleaning it’s CRAZY good. I can’t imagine a better machine out there without going commercial.

    Dyson still makes the best vacuum for pet owners

    Dyson products seem to always be ones made to delight. I really enjoyed this vacuum which is an upgrade for my family over a Dyson - Cinetic Big Ball Animal Bagless Upright Vacuum - Iron/Purple that purchased from Best Buy 6 years ago. 6 years later and Dyson's vacuums are still amazing, this one has strong suction that you expect from the name and is somewhat smaller and more compact that the predecessor. I think it runs quieter too although I have not used the deicbel app to compare quantitatively. The smaller size means that there are spots in the corners and around furniture that are now easier to vacuum than before but the head itself sits taller, tall enough that I can no longer vacuum underneath the chairs and couches. The reason for the change in headsize is actually the main draw of this vacuum -- the head has been completely redesigned so as to prevent the bunching of pet hair within the bristles. As we have a dog and two cats sharing the house with us, this has been a pain point in the past. Even our dysons need to be taken apart and cleaned of fur at least every 6 weeks so that they continue to run smooth. The early results from a weekend of vaccuming are very promising: the bristles are still out-of-the-box new despite several passes over our house that had gone embarrasingly long between vacuums prior delivery of a new machine. I'm hopeful that this is another part of cleaning that Dyson has made slightly easier.
