My vacuum cam on time.i am very happy with my purchase. It really sucks! ( in a good way)

This is the worst vacuum I have ever owned. My husband purchased for me for Christmas based on all the good reviews and reputable name. Here are just a few of the downsides we have discovered: 1. The wand tool is impossibly long and therefore has no use. To pull out the wand it is over two feet long and gets in the way of everything as you try to use it. If you keep the wand pushed into the hose it bends and pushes on the hose which will inevitably put a hole in the hose in no time. There is no way to attach a smaller wand and keep it in the vacuum to use quickly, you have to keep the longer wand and pull it out, unclip it, and clip the shorter wand in each time you wish to use the wand feature. 2. The canister is messy to empty. Even after opening the bottom and discarding the dust more dust still comes out of the center of the bottom. The side also has an opening that dust falls out of. 3. It does have good suction, but is very difficult to push, and the rolling ball makes turning actually more difficult than on my previous Shark vacuum. I am so disappointed in the design of this vacuum given the Dyson name. I would never recommend this model and likely never interested in a Dyson again.

Picks up dog hair on a carpet very well! Nothing more to say than that. Great vacuum.

Suction: better than any other vacuum I've ever owned. Hose/wand: the worst I’ve ever owed Other: moving it from one location to another, if pushed too hard the brush roll drops. It’s too sensitive to pressure and randomly drops when turned off and storing. This makes moving/rolling it annoying i just pick the heavy thing up and move it. But why is this even an issue. Overall: had for 4 months and will be selling

The vacuum motor head did not work and had to be brought to a Dyson repair center where a new motor head was put on. Very inconvenient but solved the problem immediately because they had the part. Would not have happened if it had been returned to Best Buy

Love this vacuum, I have 2 dogs so this is my go to cleaning machine. Only wish it had a light on it

I absolutely am in love with the Dyson Ball Animal 3 Upright Vacuum! This vacuum sucks up so much more dirt and pet fur compared to other vacuums. I would Highly recommend this vacuum!

So far so good, this vacuum literally "sucks", better than any other vacuum I've had. Picks up my cats hair and me and my daughters long hair without a problem. Would recommend to anyone.

By far the best vacuum I have ever owned. This vaccum is so powerful I feel as if it is cleaning the dirt off the concrete slab under my carpert and flooring. I recommended this it everyone

We got the Animal 2, which has all the same features and seems identical. I wouldn't recommend spending the money on the Dyson, sure it has better suction than any other vacuum we've used but the difference noticed is minimal. However, even the suction can be a detriment, as on rugs, it often pulls the rug up so tight that it turns off the brush. The hose is a terrible design, you have to unwrap the entire cord to get the hose out. There is a very long rigid end to the hose which, more often than not, is difficult to work with. The hose extends really long, but once the vacuum is turned on it wants to compress and the vacuum really doesn't have the weight to pull and extend the hose (when vacuuming the steps it just wants to pull the vacuum over and then up the stairs). Our last vacuum had a cord reel which lasted the life of the vacuum - 5 years, why is this not a standard feature for vacuums, especially one that is three times the cost of most other vacuums. There is no pedal to push when going from upright to being used, which isn't an issue until going to stand it back upright, as there is often an audible click but it didn't latch and then it falls right back over.

First few weeks, this vacuum was amazing. Ive had it for about a year now and it keeos getting worse and worse. The suction is adequate but it clogs on EVERYTHING and then spite out these clumps of fur. I read so many good things about Dyson, and this has not lived up to it. If its only going to last a year or two, I’ll just stick with a cheaper vacuum.

It is amazing how much dirt this collects. This is my third Dyson and it is a good upgrade.

Love this vacuum for pet hair. We use on hardwood and carpet.
