It works great! We have a dog, two cats and lots of little kids running around bringing in dirt. It handles all of that well! I love that everything is washable and easy to use. It works very well and I would highly recommend this vacuum!

But what people should know is that outside the actual motor itself, this entire thing is plastic - and not even sturdy glass-fiber reinforced. Very flimsy parts so vacuum gently! Not a great value for $400

However, this model was too heavy for my wife to handle. We returned this model and now have a version of the Dyson Ball that is much lighter and easy for her to handle.
