Vacuum works well over Berber carpet and bare flows. Good long cord and not too heavy

This is my third Dyson vacuum and it’s the best. The previous one the hose broke after 10 years. Highly recommend!

Gay vacuum for the price. Gets up all the gair of the dog pretty easily and even if your wife or daughters hair gets stuck in the sweeper part of the vacuum its pretty easy to just take it out and get all of it off. Glad i bought this.

I love Dyson products and I couldn’t wait to finally get this vacuum. I’d borrowed a slim ball when my old vacuum broke and loved it, so I decided to buy one. We have two golden retrievers and I have long hair, so after research I decided on this model. Yes, this thing can suck the paint off the walls, and I was so happy with how much dirt and hair made it to the filter. However, the auction is so strong that it snagged the carpet in several places. I’m actually worried about the housekeeper using it over the seams to the hard surfaces because I think if it lingers too long or catches a thread, it will probably unravel the carpet. I’m worried about the snags, I think the secret is to keep it moving and turn off the roller if you stop for any reason. I’m not sure I’m willing to experiment. I tried the hand tool on the sofa and found the process clunky. The tool had so much suction that it pulled at the sofa fabric and created wrinkles. It looks like it stretched the fabric. Additionally, it was hard to keep the unit upright while I worked with the hand tools. When I went to put the unit away, I found I couldn’t get it to roll on the back wheels without opening up again and dropping the roller head. The cord is 35 feet with just a hook to hold it, and the hook wasn’t deep enough to hold the whole cord so every time I put in on the hook, it fell off and in to the doorway of the closet. The unit is a lot of work and has the ease of a shop vac. I’m thinking of returning it.

Product is fantastic. Only problem couldn’t get anyone to wait on me at Best Buy, had to hunt for someone.

The vacuum itself seemed great. We purchased it specifically for pets and HEPA. The suction was great, and it wasn’t intuitive to put together, upon using it, we had to empty the canister every five minutes. And although it was made of plastic, it was very heavy. Ultimately, we took it back within 24 hours and got a full refund.

Great vacuum - works best on carpet and does a great job picking up dog hair. Best part is the hair never gets clogged in the vacuum - never had a clog so far!

Great Vacuum! Easy to clean as a lot of it comes apart without tools. Great price too. This is our second one purchased keep one on each floor. First one is still going strong.

I have had this for years now, with 2 huskies this has been a god send.

Has great suction and performs well. However, I cant help but feel that the design / build quality doesn't match up with the amount paid. Maneuvering the vacuum with its strong suction is more difficult than other vacuums we have used, despite this the handle feels the most flimsy of any vacuum I have ever used. It often flexes instead of turning the vacuum. It is very compact and works very well. It is just hard to get over a flimsy handle when paying this much.

excellent cleaning ability. Does best--cleaning and handling on hard surfaces and low to medium pile carpets. Hard to handle on higher pile rugs/carpeting. Design is has improvements over previous (regular configuration) Dyson models. Tools are secured on the shaft rather than the top of the removable debris chamber; much less like to fall off. Longer power cord is a great improvement. Ball is more maneuverable.

We have had an earlier version of the Dyson and we were extremely happy with. After 10 years we finally had to get a new one and we are happy to stick with Dyson for another 10 or more years. Very expensive but worth it. Just need to make sure to maintain and clean after use to extend the life.
