I just replaced my old but still running Dyson. This one, for some strange reason, is hard to push on carpeting. Pulling is fine, but it is harder to push than it should be. I’ve only used it for a month so maybe it’s in its breaking in period? Strange.

This is the best vacuum. I have one at home because I have two labs. This one is for our office, which just went through major remodeling. This vacuum has picked up Sheetrock pieces & Sheetrock dust & it just keeps going.

Very good product! So far it cleaned the carpet and hard floors very well.

Do not waste your money buying this vacuum. It does not operate well on carpet or flat, hard surfaces. Suction from the vacuum is terrible. The head falls off all the time. It is hard to stand the vacuum up after you have been vacuuming because the mechanisms just don’t operate smoothly. It is extremely heavy. While the wand suction functionality works well the hose is so rigid and in flexible that it is hard to operate just the hose itself to suck debris from corners and baseboards. I have actually pinched myself between the ridges in the hose when it retracted to go back in its holster.. this vacuum is extremely hard to maneuver. If you vacuum up tissue off the floor, forget it it will not pick it up. It will just break it in 1 million pieces and leave a bigger mess than when you started emptying the vacuum through the filter list canister is very easy but overall, I would not recommend this vacuum. In fact I want my money back. I paid over $400 for this vacuum and I’ve had way better vacuums for under $100. Dyson if you are listening, give me a call. I want my money back also because of this experience, I will not be buying anything else with your brand. Too bad because I was interested in your hair care products.

We are extremely pleased with our new Dyson. No complaints so far, it does an amazing job. If you have pets, and care about clean carpets, this is the vacuum you should own. The only thing I cannot speak to is the durability. Time will tell…

Love this vacuum strong and reliable the suction part is great

Surprisingly great vacuum but very difficult to reach tight areas with the wand. We switched from shark and i can tell you first hand that the lines this thing puts in my carpert make me feel like i have new carpet, this thing really SUCKS.... in the best way possible.

Too heavy to move and not easy to transfer between floors. It is very difficult to clean the house with the standard accessories in the package. Otherwise the cleaning power/quality is very good.

Does a great job of picking up German Shepherd hair. My dog sheds a lot.

Vacuum has great power, nice to see what you are picking up. Maneuvers well. Pushes just a little harder on the thicker carpet. Have only used it twice, but picks up dog hair really well!

This vacuum is unreal. Can’t believe how much it pull out of my carpets. Did my living room and pulled a soccer ball worth of dog hair first time using it.

Love this vacume. This is my 2nd dyson 1st was animal ball and the new one is animal ball 3. Didnt come with the dog shedding tool. I dunno if it was supposed to but its shown on back of box. Got the other two tools tho.

We have gone through so many vacuum cleaners over the last 3 to 4 years. We have read so many reviews before we purchased the vacuum cleaners that we went through. They all had good ratings. For some reason, they kept breaking from belt issues, to overheating, to where they start to smell like something is burning etc...so we finally decided to buy the most expensive vacuum cleaner we have ever purchased...one of the main reasons we got this vacuum cleaner is because of the brush, it doesn't keep hair tangled up inside it; it actually breaks it down and puts it inside the container. Also we have the total tech protection with Bestbuy, so we are covered for 24 months...that also gave us some peace. So far we are very ompreased with it.

Bought to replace an Animal 2 after we had all our carpets replaced with a longer pile. The Animal 3 adjusts to accommodate different carpet pile lengths and does a great job. Very happy with it!

Love love love this sweeper. Dyson suction on this sweeper is amazing, I have 4 dogs and a cat , and this sweeper keeps our house spotless.

The vacuum cleans 2 swipes maximum and my floors are carpet are clean. Don’t walk run!

I have a dog with allergies and dander. This helps a lot around my home for hardwood floors and carpet. I’d try it out on him if he wasn’t scared of it I bet it’d help him a lot too but his loss.

This vac is so strong on suction floor mode that it gets stuck to flooring, and thats a good thing to me. It also make hairy situations a breeze to get to and the mobility is just insane. Got to try this for yourself....unbelieveable.
