This vacuum cleans better than any other brand I’ve owned (Hoover, Shark). The only issue is the way that it rolls on its wheels when not in use. It just isn’t smooth. It’s not a big deal but this is why I didn’t rate it 5 stars.

On bare floor and short carpet this vacuum is second to none. On a longer carpet or rug you can count it as arms day at the gym. Love the quality and engineering involved in all of Dyson products, and this vacuum does not disappoint.

First vacuum I’ve ever bought that didn’t clog with pet hair on my the first run. If you want quality, you’ve gotta shell out for the name brand. Really great at getting edges and corners. Able to reach the cobwebs too. Best vacuum I’ve ever owned.

My previous Dyson finally stopped working after 17 years. So i decided to buy another one since this one worked so well after so many years. I am very disappointed in the new model. Vacuum is very cheaply made. I don't think it has as much suction. It doesn't hold as much in the canister. I don't know if it will last as long but we will see. In my opinion this is not previous standards of Dyson!

Our church used it to replace our old one, it was amazing. If I would change one thing I would make an option to get a extension cord built in as it stems we are always using one.

I have had both the original Dyson Ball Animal and the Animal 2 which both worked well for our house with 6 cats.. But this one is by far my favorite! It is much more quiet and as someone who has waist length hair, I love the no tangle beater bar!

Decent. Was on sale so it was worth it. Ours broke and we needed something quickly. Seems to work fine.

My last Dyson Animal lasted almost 15 years. It didn't have the ball, and I was worried I wouldn't like it, but it turns out I LOVE it! Fantastic product from a fantastic company. You really pay for the quality not just the name.

Awesome for pet hair, specially golden retriever hair!

This is pretty strong, the tube is in an inconvenient space but its not that bad, hard to push on carpet, could use bigger wheels on the front end. Has to be tilted on either side for the ball to actually be of use, as for the 2 back wheels, they are completely lifted from the ground and provide no support or assistance in pushing forward. Needs more or bigger wheels for ease of use. dont like having to wait about 28 hrs for the rung out filter to dry. No sun* Straight back and forth would not recommend, for turns sure.

I was amazed by the amount of dirt that was in our carpet that was picked up by the Dyson. And I usually vacuum weekly. The carpet is looking great!

We bought this as a replacement for another Dyson Ball that finally wore out. Though it works just as well picking up the hair it doesn't have the power drive that the previous one had. Maybe we just went on the cheap, but the first was much easier to use.

Best vacuum I’ve ever owned and is definitely worth the cost

I love Dyson and this vacuum was a replacement for the Dyson we have had for almost 12 years. This was a great upgrade! It works amazing in all floor types and especially with picking up pet hair. Definitely would recommend.

Great vacuum was definitely a good replacement and im glad i spent the extra money.

The vacuum is very heavy and hard to push on carpeting. I tried all 3 settings and all the same. Using the hose attachment was difficult too. The hose did not loosen when extending it without manually stretching it. Also concerned over time the hose would crack where it was attached to the attachment piece. When putting the vacuum back up in standing position the hose keeps running. Very disappointing after deciding to try a Dyson for the first time. Returned to the store.

I love my previous animal ball dyson. My daughters friend stepped on it and broke it. Would’ve cost almost as much to buy a new one to repair. So I ended up buying a new one. I do love it. Just not made as good as the first one I bought when They first came out.

It works, great suction so far, but its so heavy and hard to maneuver around. The hose is impossible to deal with, and I hate how the extension wand just sits in the base all lose. The floor setting being on top of the roller is odd to me, If I was someone who struggled physically this vacuum would not be one that I recommend at all. I much prefer my older Shark to Dyson, but that is just me. Wish I would've went with a new Shark instead but I figured Id treat myself to this one, color me disappointed. It just sits in my closet now as I use my old Shark.
