Cheap Plastics Mean NO Longevity,

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This vacuum has great suction, non-issues on the suction, but if you're expecting your vacuum to last more than 2 to 3 years then don't buy this because it is made from cheap plastics and if you bump in some hard object, it will break easy. There is 3 years warranty by Dyson but not warranted on broken parts. Reason I bought this vacuum because it was on sale during black Friday.

We would not expect to hear that you're having an issue with parts easily breaking on your machine. Dyson machines are made from polycarbonate ABS, which is same material used in riot shields and crash helmets. They are tough, so we subject them to 50,000 hours of testing and 550 individual tests – all to ensure that they can withstand a lifetime’s hard use. I have severe allergies and this was a selling point for me. There are no bags to buy and all the filters are washable. This vacuum has a generous extension hose and the center of gravity is low so you don't have to worry about it tipping over. These are things I never thought of before I got a Dyson.
