It doesn't clean hardwood floors good because of the head design. It's hard for me and my family to maneuver as well. Forget trying to use the hose attachment because it's the most awkward thing to use. I'll be selling this and switching back to Shark.

I love this vacuum so much that I bought a cordless dyson stick vacuum 3 days later. This thing is amazing and I couldn’t believe how much more dirt came out of my carpets after just using my Shark that had so much suction it was hard to maneuver and wore me out. The Dyson glides over carpet yet picks up way more dirt.

And it’s AWFUL for stairs. With this machine not having a powered lift away option and the hose being extremely stiff, it’s almost impossible for stairs. My wife has fibromyalgia and she couldn’t use it. I had to walk behind her and keep slack on the hose because it was so stiff. Ultimately, we returned and bought a Shark DuoClean Powered LiftAway. I gave it 2 stars because in the small areas i was able to use it, it was a fantastic machine.

While I can confirm that the hose will be still upon initial use, we would essentially expect the hose to become more flexible with time and use.
