Great Vacuum if You Have Pets

This is my second Dyson, and I won't use anything else. The vacuum is great at picking up all the dirt and dust you don't see too. I am always amazed at how much dirt this picks up. When I saw this on sale, I had to get another one.

Easy assembly, and 5 year warranty is great, gives you the warm and fuzzy about your purchase because you know the company stands behind their product.

I would purchase it again! if you keep it clean like your suppose to this vacuum works amazingly!

It needed replacing and this was the most similar. It falls over if you are using the attachments as the two wheels in the back aren't large enough to give stability. The cleaning power is great!

The included instructions were not great for assembling - you need to find a Dyson online video. This is about my 10th Dyson product. When trying to recline the vacuum for use it feels as if you’re going to break it. Dyson could have done better with that.

My wife and I have 3 dogs so we were pretty happy with our new animal!! My word, I think we pulled another dog of hair up!!

My only complaint is the quality of the plastic on the handle. With the weight of the machine and the price it shouldn’t have any give at all! The ball takes a little getting used to but awesome from the start. Great motor

We have a lake cabin and get a lot of company with dogs. This Dyson Ball Vacuum gets the tiniest bit of dog hair out of the carpets. My first one is 3 years old and still works like new.

Although it has great suction when new, my fear is that it will wear out quick. This is due to practically pulling itself across the carpet, I bet the clutch will wear out sooner rather than later. The parts that hold it in upright position sound like cheap plastic pieces that will break the next time you "un-click" it from upright position. You're lucky if you can roll it across the room before the pieces that hold it upright "un-click" and the brush head falls to the floor. - FYI if you do get this, in the bag of attachments is the piece that attaches to the vacuum to hold the attachments. Nice of Dyson to not tell you this, or give a diagram or anything... Engineers took the day off when this was built.

Our Animal models generally offer the most powerful suction among our line of machines, and have been designed for homes with pets in mind - offering functions and features that help dig out pet hair and other stubborn debris.
This machine offers a quick recline feature. This will avoid the need for pedals or stepping on the front of the machine as with our non-ball models. Rolling the unit around from room to room is recommended to be done with the ball instead of the stabilizer wheels on the back of the ball. You can then put the unit upright once you are done with cleaning and for storage. However, if you are having trouble locking the machine upright after cleaning, your machine would not be performing as designed.

It's a DYSON -- Clearly the BEST

Little bothered by the hose rigidity --struggle to easily pull and point to needed areas. Hold up well to the use and only had minor rework on previous units. SALE Price caught my eye.

When this Dyson went on sale, I snapped it up right away! My husband does the majority of the vacuuming and he was shocked to see how much dust and sand he picked up with the Dyson vs. Shark.
