The only complaint I have is the ease of rolling it around while not in use, it kicks back like you are going to use it way too easily

It was worth it and I would highly recommend this to anyone. It was a daily deal when I got this and definitely a perfect product for your home needs.

Delivery was free and received it with in a couple days. I have always been satisfied with their customer service.

Although I replaced a 2 version and this unit is tough to push on plush carpets. Came with the hose out of alignment, but they sent out a new one relatively promptly.

Very good vacuum, but I expect a vacuum to last more than 5 years. Especially since we don’t have that much carpet in the house.

No more stepping on a release bar for the handle, you just pull back on it. Works well so far. Hopefully it lasts as long as my prior one.

Good choice for the money

We have two cats and cat hair is fine and hard to vacuum up. This does a nice job. However it's heavy, doesn't have a retractable cord and oddly enough it's awkward to steer.

This has gone down hill with the quality of brush on vacuum and the attachments are cheaply made. It tips over constantly when using the hose. Really disappointed

Thank you for your review. This is Miella from Dyson. We're sorry to hear of your experience with the Dyson Ball Animal upright machine. The plastic on our machines and attachments are made of ABS plastic, same as the material used in police riot shields. We also put our machines through a vigorous quality assurance testing process to ensure they can endure more than the average bumps and drops.
While wear and tear is completely normal for the brushbar, if properly maintained as outlined in the user manual, it is created to last.
The hose on the machine can be stiff out the box since it's new, unused plastic. However, it will loosen up with uses and will be easier to handle and maneuver. We always recommend extending the hose before using any of the attachments.

The only con is the hose and how it goes back down. Also the "stand" tends to not hold and the vac falls over if not locked into place.
