If you are attempting to move the machine from one location to another, while not in use, it is meant to be picked up by the cyclone handle. If you tilt the machine to move while not in use, it will engage the vacuum into the vacuuming position.

They really cut corners on plastics and quality control. This vacuum is a shell of its former self. Awful. The price should be half and still be expensive based on the quality. Almost broke the cord holder just wrapping the darn cord.

That being said, frequent obstructions in your machine may occur as a result of poor airflow, which can happen due to an existing obstruction or dirty filters. This blockage of airflow can also result with a loss of suction. I am happy to let you know that most blockages are simple to remove and we find that most problems may be resolved through simple, yet effective troubleshooting at home.
