Takes a few minutes to put together. Over all: it SUCKS! Be careful on area rugs. Honestly, all except actual carpet I think it's too strong. On any size hallway rug or large area rug it's tough to vacuum. It either sucks the actual rug up or the machine is hard to push cause it's vacuum is so strong. But! it does clean. WOW! it cleans! I would recommend it and glad I have it. Oh, I wish for the money it coiled the cord up into the machine.

Our last Dyson lasted for 15 years, From the short time we have had the new Ball Animal Upright, this model will be just as great. If you have pets, carpets or hard wood floors, I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed!

I have had this Vacuum for a few months and I can honestly say that I love it. I was a little hesitant at first as some say it was hard to push and don't get me wrong this is not a play play Vacuum however it definitely sucks up a lot of dirt and makes cleaning easy. I have a lot of carpet so definitely wasn't going the stick route. Great buy so far!

It will elevate an area rug off the floor. It’s heavy which is why I didn’t give it five stars. However it really performs!!

I would have given a 5 Stars if some of the part does not feel so flimsy. But overall, so far, the suction and maneuverability are awesome. I have a DC33 and once I started using the Animal and saw all the dirt sucked in the container then I was impress. Per the review online or YouTube, the sound is not that bad and the rotor with the suction power helps propel very easy. If the parts last 5 yrs then this one is definitely a 5 Stars....

I won't buy anything else. Cleans amazing! Easy to use and fix. Lasts a long time.

A little disappointed in the material the vacuum is made if as it feels sort of cheap and flimsy, but the way it cleans is better than anything I’ve ever used in my life. If it weren’t for having the Best Buy warranty, I’d probably consider a different brand.

I have a DC25 Limited edition. The roller won't snap in place when moving. I called Dyson and they told me the part will be close to $100 plus labor so it is just cheaper to buy a new one. It's a Dyson so you know the power is good but a bit heavier than I would like. I am placing one vaccum per floor so I don't have to carry up and down the stair. It is still compatible with the old accessories. I guess I am stuck with the Dyson ecosystem.

We had an older Dyson which we loved but finally broke after 10 years. After much research, we chose this one over some of the other brands which we're rated similarly. The biggest factor was durability in conjunction with the suction ability and the canister. The bad first, I hate the way the vacuum locks/unlocks from an upright position. When your done sweeping, you actually have to push it up twice to lock it; otherwise, it falls over. Also, the mechanism with the hose is weird. You have to push a button to release it but it's real testy to slide back in and can't be done one handed as with the older models. The good: reliable, STRONG suction, love the HEPA filter and canister. This one is also very light and maneuverable. I have no issues carrying it upstairs, unlike the previous model. Overall, we love it and wouldn't consider another brand!

This is a very powerful vacuum. Very easy to put together and easy to use.

1st time Dyson owner. This is a nice, powerful vacuum. Upon assembling it I was concerned on how cheap the parts were. The handle seems too heavy for the clip holding it in the upright position (will fall back on you). Overall it vacuums very well and I am pleased.

This vacuum was very easy to put together! The suction is amazing too! Lots of accessories that are easy to use and add to the quality of the vacuum. The vacuum is also light weight so it’s easy to carry. I bought this vacuum for 50% off since the new version was coming out I jumped on this sale! Worth taking the risk and investing in this vacuum!

This is my 2nd Dyson. I’ve had it a few months and it cleans just as well as the last one that I had which was the Dyson animal. They are well worth the money!! My last one lasted 12 years!

A black Friday deal that has not gone wrong. I've spent way more than the price of a single vacuum trying to find the one for her. I was finally able to convince her to let me buy a Dyson and she has finally met a vacuum she likes. The auto adjustment for hard floors and carpet work great and the vacuum is finding dirt that she thought was gone. I was happy to pay a little extra for the pet version with attachments. Great buy so far.

Coming from a battery powered vacuum that did ok, this is amazing. Originally just had my roomba going every other day and i assumed my carpets were clean. After one pass through with this the bin was almost full.

Vacuum power great and directions are easy to follow. The attachments are easy to use.
