I was looking for a vaccum cleaner which works for floor and carpet, and this Dyson beast does both so amazing. Having called it a beast, it is slightly heavy to manuveur. But what it does is exactly what you want.

Dyson makes some of the best vacuums in my opinion. I bought this one when it was on sale as a “Deal of the Day”. It does an amazing job of cleaning my carpets and a good job of cleaning my hardwood floors. I actually wanted to test how well this one cleaned my carpet so, I vacuumed my carpets with an old Dyson (like first model older) and then vacuumed again with this one. WOW is all I can say!! It was like I didn’t even vacuum at all with the older one. The attachments work well for cleaning in tight spaces and the hose has a pretty decent reach. My only small complaint is that it doesn’t feel as sturdy as some of the earlier models but this doesn’t change my mind about how much I like this vacuum. I definitely recommend this vacuum.

We kept buying new vacuums every few years because the old one just quit working right. Not since we’ve bought Dysons. This is our second and we use it for downstairs and the basement since it’s lighter than our other one. All Dysons work well, are easy clean. Well worth spending a little extra and not having to throw away a vacuum every few years.

We owned the originally dyson ball for 10 years or so and so I decided it was probably time to upgrade when I saw this on sale and boy am I glad we did! This one is amazing with pet hair as well as everything else! I vacuumed with my old dyson first then this one and the amount of stuff it picked up blew my mind! So glad I made this purchase!

I'm a dog lover and occasionally they shed no down here in the Carolina heat they simply shed period. A dyson vacuum is exactly what the carpet Doctor ordered to clean and remove all the hair and normal things to get your carpet looking new and clean. I've paid less and got less results. You get what you pay for. Dyson is well worth the money, Excellent in every way.

Wow. This thing SUCKS!!! Every time I use this vacuum, it simply blows me away how much it sucks. If you're ready for a vacuum that really, really sucks, the Dyson is for you. 10/10.

This vacuum works great! I vacuumed the day before with my old vacuum and this Dyson picked up so much more. It does suction down to the carpet a little too much. It takes every ounce of my strength to move it. I stuck a furniture glide on the bottom of the vacuum to break the suction a little. It helped a little but not entirely.

This vaccuum has great sucking power. I love it's mobility and ease to use.

Was delivered ahead of time. Easy to use and does a great job.

I can't say enough about this vacuum. I have owned several other cheaper vacs and never wanted to spend the big bucks to own a Dyson. Well I should have done myself a favor and spent the money. This vac has so much suction and picks up dog hair like nothing. Even the furniture attachment picks up hair really well. Does great on tile floors too.This is a solid machine that I would recommend to anyone. Money well spent.

I love my Dyson. I had one for years, but it took a tumble down the stairs. I replaced it with a Shark because I didn’t want to spend the money. The Shark was terrible. I finally broke down and bought this Dyson and I’m back to being in love with the results. It is a little heavier than I’d like it to be, but it’s so worth it.

My first time spending a good amount of $ for a vacuum and so far I'm very pleased. It does take some getting used to as far as how to engage all of the different attachments but it has great suction power. I did notice that it is supposed to automatically switch the brush roller on or off if it is on carpet or wood floors but mine is not doing that so I will have to contact customer support to see if there is an issue. Otherwise, great vacuum.

Great piece of equipment. We got this to replace our 5 year old vacuum that was falling apart and the difference is night and day. Even at its best the other vacuum didn’t have the power this machine does. Only downside is I can’t use this to clean out the car anymore but that’s nothing compared to the cleanliness we are getting in the house now.

Excellent suction, easy to use and if it holds up like my last Dyson did worth every penny.

This is a really powerful vacuum with several useful attachments!

Does a great job never really loses suction, smooth. Bad part is terrible when you use the hose it won't stay stretched out the second you turn it on the suction causes the hose to collapse do when you start moving it pulls the vacuum and it falls over.

This has major suction! Works much better than expected. The attachments work very well!
