Dyson vacuums never fail!

Great suction and for someone with alot of allergies, I use it daily to keep my house clean and dust free. I like that this model is lighter than the previous models and it can get to hard to get to places. I am considering buying another one for work :)

I replaced an old dyson that we had for 10 years. I like the ball feature, it maneuvers easily. The vacuum isn’t overly heavy, and it’s easy to empty. We have 2 dogs and it does a good job keeping up with the fur!

Great hi powered vacuum

We ordered it online and received it within two days. It was very easy to assemble. We used it and it made the fibers on our carpet come back to life. This vacuum has very strong suction and is very versatile. We would highly recommend this vacuum. It's worth the extra money!!

Suction is essential and the dyson has that. But the head design presents some menuevability problems. Bare floors it slides around. Modesttly deep pile carpet is difficult to pull or push. With a big price tag you might be better off with another brand (or 2).

Too much hassle to clean

If I don't clean them out, which is not an easy task at all, they don't roll and leave marks on my hard floors. I used to be a Dyson fan, but I'm in the market for a new brand now.

The Dyson Ball Animal features the most suction of any upright we currently offer and delivers more suction power than most commercial-grade vacuums as well. However, it is disappointing to hear that cleaning the brushbar seems to be an issue.
All current Dyson upright models are designed with removable brushbars to make the standard cleaning procedure quite simple. You may also be interested to know that the brushbar does not need to be engaged when vacuuming your hard floors. The spinning brush is simply used to agitate carpeting for more thorough pickup and we advise turning it off when using the machine on all hard surfaces.
