The vacuum is as good as advertised! The suction is great and you can easily transition from hardwood floors to carpet. Would definitely recommend!

The vacuum itself is the very best in the HEPA class. It's lightweight (compared to the Bissell I had before), maneuverable, and picks up even the finest pet hair from carpet. The brush head auto-adjusts for carpet depth and is very easy to remove and clean. The turbo brush is very effective on upholstery. Lots of bad reviews on the retractable hose and they're all correct. It just won't stretch; almost impossible to use, thus the 4 stars instead of 5. I'm hoping it stretches out over time, or Dyson comes up with a replacement.

I've been waiting to buy a Dyson for years. This one came on sale and I just finished a construction project and it is GREAT for all the dust everywhere.

we bought two of these, one for up and the other for down stairs, they work great! Easy to operate and light to move around. They do a good job with our Golden's dog hair as well.

I like my new Dyson Ball Animal Upright it cleans well, and I loved my original from 2006! - sturdier and clean, superbly.

We had our previous Dyson Ball for pets for nearly 11 years before getting this one. Now hoping for another 11 year before we have to replace this one.

This is my second purchase of a Dyson Animal vacuum, after my previous one finally broke after almost 12 years of constant use. Does an impeccable job of picking up animal hair, and the attachments make cleaning any areas done with ease.

Works great, only 2 slightly negative comments. 1 - Its a bit heavier than others but not horrible. 2 - Does not always stay standing upright. The handle is a little heavy so I have it standing next to the wall so it does not fall back.

I've owned numerous vacuums and this Dyson is by far the best. Extra long extension wand for hard to reach areas and long cord allows you to cover large areas without having to stop.

We have had our older Yellow Dyson for 8 or 9 years. It was time to start looking for a replacement. I read all the reviews on Best Buy concerning the Purple Animal Dyson and was pretty impressed with the reviews. I have 2 German Shepherds that run around the house like kids. If you have or know anyone that have German Shepherds, they shed like crazy. I ran the older Dyson first through the living room then after ran the Purple Animal Dyson behind it. Wow, it almost filled the canister with hair and dirt. It was actually pulling me forward. Wife and I were impressed and glad we invested in this model. We have had it a couple of months now and vacuum at least twice a week and have had no problems with the machine. If you have animals running around your house you will not go wrong buying this model.

Love Dyson vacuums won’t buy anything else! Best Buy is the best to get this vacuum.

Best Upright vacuum very good suction and power full

Very Satisfied with the Dyson vacuum. I knew it would be high quality because of the trusted brand, the suction is very powerful and great for our office. Employees are happy.

My only complaint is the way push down or lean up to lock in place. It is easy to push down but hard to lock up sometimes. I tend to have to lift the entire vac to move over things or take upstairs when not in vacuum mode. But great vac overall. Its a dyson.

Bought this Dyson for my wife, she loves it. Great performance & upgrade from Bissell.

This vacuum is fantastic. Leaves no dirt behind. This is my second Dyson. First one made it 11 years before I broke it and had to replace it.

Only used it once so far but did a better job than our previous vacuum. So far so good
