This is a must if you have pets. It can make a big difference and it doesn't take much effort to do a quick clean. I believe you would get the most use out of this with pets that tend to shed more than others. That's why I picked this up with having shepherds. Just make sure to do some simple maintenance on this vacuum every few months and it should serve you well in the longrun.

Good quality, a bit heavy but overall would recommend

This Dyson vacuum is worth every penny I spent on it! It’s easy to maneuver, has amazing cleaning power on carpet as well as our tile floors! Absolutely love this vacuum and highly recommend it!

We have an older, standard version of the Dyson Animal and figured it was time to buy again because of the great price. I don’t mind the ball style but my wife has a harder time pushing it around the floor. The power seems more that our older model.

I bought this vacuum to replace a 10 y/o model of the same machine. This new one has a longer cord and seems a tad lighter, 2 improvements. It sucks up dirt and hair like a champ and I look forward to using it for many years to come.

I really like this vacuum, you can tell that it picks up so much more than my old one. My only complaint is that sometimes the roller brush turns off on carpet because the suction is so strong. So then you have to turn it off and back on again. But it’s totally worth it for the amount of dirt and dog hair it picks up. It’s also much louder than our old vacuum.

I had a shark prior to buying this Dyson. It is certainly better at picking up debris. There are set backs like the hose is strange to me it extends out but the extension is hard plastic it doesn't bend. sometimes if I bend the hose a certain way it cuts of the suction to extender. It's kind of awkward to use and the two attachments that do fit onto the vacuum fall off easily if bumped. Also, sometimes its hard to stand it upright. If you're not careful it will fall over. One thing I did notice when it is properly upright it doesn't fall over like my shark did when I'd use handheld attachments. I will be keeping due to the fact it is better and sucking up my great dane's hair than my shark. Does definitely need improvement on hand held attachments and design.

I absolutely love The Dyson vacuum. I’ve had one for years. I use to have to purchase a new vacuum every year. Not anymore! You just can’t beat this product. When I saw this one on the deal of the day I couldn’t pass it up. This one is upstairs to use so I don’t have to carry my other one up and down. I won’t ever buy anything else. If you take care of it. It will take care of you!

This is the best vacuum I have ever owned! Woukd recommend this to anyone looking for a powerful, dependable product.

Works great and was easy to put together. The only drawback is when you turn it on it seems like it weighs 20 pounds heavier. I am assuming it is due to the force of suction.

Love the suction of this vacuum! My only complaint is that I cannot vaccum small area rugs because the suction is too strong. Great on floors and large rugs. I have used shark rotator for years and like it but after time the suction is not great. It does however work on small rugs and the lift off canister is easier to use than the dyson. I have two dogs and the dyson power is better and cord is longer.

Order came quickly. Vacuum works so well. I am very pleased with my purchase. It gets the dirt out 100% better than my old vacuum. I really enjoy using this new vacuum.

The best vacuum I have used. It picks up lots of debris deep and on surface. I shed a lot of long hair and it pulls off easily and has not tangled! The container releases and cleans out easily, no touch no mess.

We had another dyson ball, however with the dogs it would take a couple passes to feel Ann the hair was up, this Dyson Animal was built for the pet world!!!! It is a one pass and done suction type! It is totally awesome!!!!

The first vacuum came in damaged and Best Buy replaces it quickly with no issue. The vacuum picks up even the tiniest dust particles. It really deep cleans the carpet.
