(Pun intended haha) It does a really good job picking up everything! It was recommended from my girlfriends mom and I can see why! Love how it comes apart for easy cleaning, and that everything consolidates neatly together!

So far, it has worked great like our old dyson, but I don't expect it to last long as it feels more cheaply made than our previous model. Time will tell, but it feels less durable/more fragile. There wasn't a model in the store, so we were only able to get a look at it once we opened the box at home. It was easy to assemble, and it picks up pet hair fabulously! If you get a good deal, go for it, but I wouldn't pay full price for this.

Rest assured, Dyson machines are made from polycarbonate ABS which is the same material used in riot shields and crash helmets. We subject them to 50,000 hours of testing and 550 individual tests. All of this to ensure they can withstand a lifetime's hard use.

I'd wait until on sale, so the deal is even better! I had the smaller yellow ball Dyson for the past 12 years and loved it more than any other vacuum....but now this Animal is an even better product.
