The expandable hose sucks back when you turn it on so you end up fighting the suction power while trying to use attachments. Suction and cleaning were great, but too heavy for my use.

Terrific vacuum

This went on special, so I snapped it up. It's a very strong, terrific vacuum. With a dog and dark hardwood floors, this is a lifesaver. One thing to note is that it is quite heavy.
