When it appeared on a flash sale I couldn’t resist. Excellent suction and easy to use. Love it can go to different floor coverings easily. It’s the vacuum to have if you have pets.

Beast in two ways

It's very flexible and the attachments are great. Like you'd expect with a Dyson. But it is very heavy and I get to carry it up and down the stairs. Perhaps Dyson can invest in creating lighter motors? This thing is a beast both in capability and weight.

The accessories are great too. What’s not so great is the clip that makes it stand straight up. Seems cheap and you have to click it in place a couple times before it catches. The extension hose would be gtreat but if you have to vacuum around let’s say the floor boards, when the hose is bent down, it looses it suction. For the price, I’m really disappointed.

We're happy to hear that you've been pleased with the 270 air watts of powerful suction that the Ball Animal 2 provides, as well as the variety of attachments that this machine includes. I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Dyson Ball Animal 2 standing up on its own. Dyson Ball vacuum cleaners operate with a quick recline feature. This will avoid the need for pedals or stepping on the front of the machine as with our non-ball models. Rolling the unit around from room to room is recommended to be done with the ball instead of the stabilizer wheels on the back of the ball. You can then put the unit upright once you are done with cleaning and for storage. However, if you are having trouble locking the machine upright after cleaning, your machine would not be performing as designed. At least that's what I experienced. Compared to a Eureka Boss, which is very capable, the Dyson is much stronger and pulls up dirt you didn't know was there. The Dyson wand and attachments are not great, however as they don't have the reach or flexibility for all jobs. I still use a canister for those applications although the Dyson wand attachments work in a pinch.

There is simply no comparison, this Dyson is the best vacuum I have ever owned. It's easy to use and extremely powerful!
