This vacuum made me embarrassed and I only have carpet in 4 bed rooms. We vacuumed often but after I bought this vacuum I picked up about 4 container worth of dust, hair, and dirt. My only knock is they really need to build a bigger canister.

Definitely was worth getting since my carpet looks a lot cleaner and there isn't as much dust build up in my apartment thanks to the vacuum's hose. Some things that are annoying is that you have to push the vacuum all the way forward for it to stand on its own, and sometimes if you don't dump out the dust in the container it won't have much affect on the carpets. Overall its a good product and worth the money if you're looking for a good vacuum.

The instructions for assembly are a bit cryptic but not useless. The machine has a short hose. Otherwise, it's the best vacuum I have ever owned. The 20 year old carpets look almost new. Dyson is well made and it gets the job done.

Good Vacuum For The Money

Steering with the ball is not always intuitive, but it's ok once you get used to it. I guess my biggest complaint is that it doesn't always stay locked in the upright position when you're trying to roll it on the rear wheels. I think it needs a stronger catch to keep it upright. Other than that, it's a great vacuum for the money.

This will avoid the need for pedals or stepping on the front of the machine as with our non-ball models. Rolling the unit around from room to room is recommended to be done with the ball instead of the stabilizer wheels on the back of the ball. You can then put the unit upright once you are done with cleaning and for storage. However, if you are having trouble locking the machine upright after cleaning, your machine would not be performing as designed. Please consider contacting us directly at [email protected]. Excellent on carpet and hardwood floors. This is so lightweight that this old lady does not get tired pushing it around, and I am able to lift it up to do large sofa cushions quickly, when using the hose alone would take more time.
