not what I expected for the brand name

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this this is heavy, unwieldy, and has some serious design flaws. if you transition from carpet to hard floor it's not very easy, and heaven forbid you have area rugs. The beater brush will eat anything not nailed down, yet when going over hard floors lacks the suction that you would expect while mourning for every shoelace and rug corner the brush section just annihilated. the hose arm is very long, but for some reason Dyson put the rigid extender on the end that you would need most flexibility to get to corners or around objects. Not a fan of this thing, and given this was my first "splurge" on a nicer vacuum feel let down and wasted the extra money. I've played with this thing now a couple of weeks and just am not happy. and not Dyson's fault, but Best Buy sent me a used or returned unit. the box was beat up and taped, and there was someone else's hair in the brush. Ew.

The Dyson Ball Animal features Dyson ball technology, which allows for easy navigation with the turn of a wrist. The cleaner head on this machine is self-adjusting, meaning that it raises and lowers to seal in suction across all floors. Ultimately, the machine being hard to push will likely be the result of suction forming an air tight seal between the cleaner head and the floor. If you are vacuuming on an area rug that isn't fixed onto the flooring beneath, this can cause the powerful suction to "stick" to the flooring underneath, causing the issue you are currently having.

The price was also desirable as it isn’t as expensive as one would think!

Way To Heavy

The person works there said it is junk for the money it is built no better than a $150.00 Vacuum, when seen what I saw the Vacuum went back. I did not test my mom's out 1st before buying as she lives really far from me, so far my moms is holding up so far. she has said about it being so heavy to push so has my dad do the vacuuming
