Best vacuum I've owned! I had a smaller older version that lasted 5 years, with 3 kids,3 dogs, and my husband ran over it...finally kicked the busket. This one here is our replacement and it really gets the dirt, the stuff I didn't know was in our carpets I see in the canister, infeelnlikenour caroets are finally getting clean. And very easy to use, nice long cord. Perfect vacuum!

I love this vacuum! Did my research and decided this was my best bet for how much pet hair I had hiding in my carpet. It is almost gross how well it works—you can see everything as it’s being sucked up. Only thing that is kind of a nuisance is the detachable cord is connected to the power cord holder so the power cord has to be unwound to use the attachments. No big deal if you’re already using the vacuum though.

The hose can reach the stairs but it might be better to have a lighter cordless vac to do stairs. The suction is very powerful. I was able to use attachments to do my car and hard wood floor too. I debated on getting this big bulky vacuum or the lighter cordless. I decided I wanted power and suction above being light.

We bought this vacuum to replace our older Dyson that died. We opted for the animal version because we had 2 big dogs and lots of dog hair to deal with. The vacuum works great and even better than our older Dyson. The attachments work great as well. I've used some vacuums that spin the attachment with the air from the suction and bog down. Not the case with this vacuum. The roller ball is a bit clunky to deal with but you get used to it.

The suction is great. The hose extends really long. Its heavier than I would like. Its hard for kids and elders to push.

Works great.. Easy to push!! Cleans well. Has long cord which is great.

We just received it yeasterday! We needed an upgrade and it was on sale! Took us awhile to put it together but all was Good when we finished. The Vacuum is great! Picks up really good. Love the ball features...it really does go in hard to fit places and really easy to dispose. We have a cat and it does the job!

Have used it a couple of times its very powerful easy to use on floors but because of the heavy suction its a little heavy in weight to use on floor area rugs Its works very efficiently on wll to wall carpet

I am very pleased with the vacuum. It has superior suction power and maneuverability. It's a bit heavier than my previous vacuum but the agility with the built-in hose and attachments make up for it. No bags to deal with is also a big plus.

its been about one year. good suction, but kinda big and heavy for my wife. had to take apart roller head and clear out my wife's tangled hair.

Nice and reliable vacuum! Cleaning the house is efficient because suction is good. Downside is that it is heavy.

So far so good. My wife really like this vacuum cleaner and the many features it has. It has a very powerful suction and is easy to maneuver. Also comes with a five year manufactures warranty. The only down side is, its a little heavier then conventional vacuums.

Bought the vacuum because we have several animals in the house. We have mostly bamboo hardwood but the closets have carpet. This vacuum has the most suction I have had from a vacuum. It got tons of dirt and hair with ease. The attachments work great, and I really like the attachment that is powered by the suction of the vacuum. Pretty cool!

I'm a believer in the phrase "you get what you pay for." You can tell this vacuum is made of great quality even from the cord. Suction is amazing... I can vacuum the dogs hair off the couch so easily with the attachment it comes with. I should have bought this vacuum years ago!

Nice vacuum. Saw it as a deal of the day and liked the discounted price. This vacuum works very well. Just strong enough not to pull the fibers out of the carpet. It does what it claims. It does an excellent job with cat and dog hair. You can smell the difference after use. I would buy this vacuum again.

Suction is GREAT. The attachment hose...awkward as f*. Only bought this because it was on sale, and the suction on my 2nd SHARK was terrible, bought that to replace my original, but getting the one especially for pets was a mistake...irrelevant to this...but the hose extension though, had a handle and curved. I still bring that out now instead of using the Dyson, unfortunately. The Dyson does not extend easily, seems to only work straight, doesn't have a handle or a curved attachement to reach hight places. It does work great on the carpets.

Wonderful machine.. has great suction and we easy to use.. glad you can see when the bowl is full or dirty so u can dump and clean it

Nice powerful and well designed machine. High quality materials and workmanship and appears it will last. Not the best for hard floors but terrific on carpet and large open areas. Hose barely reaches up a full flight of stairs.

This vacuum is great for hard surfaces such as wood, tile, and concrete from a suction power point of view, very strong suction. On plush or dense carpets it is very difficult to push and pull the vacuum across without a lot of effort. In fact my wife can barely move it across our Persian rugs and dense carpets. Area rugs and runners are another challenge due to the suction of the unit as it will pull in lighter ones or at least move them around the floor. Now the mechnics of the unit that need to be mentioned. When you are done with the unit you need to push the handle to the vertical position so it will lock in place. there is one loud click that you would think is the lock position but it is not, there has to be a second click that is much harder to hear that ensures the handle won't fall to the floor after you let go of it. The combination crevice and brush tool is a neat idea but it adds a level of frustration when trying to use the crevice tool for deeper narrow spots as the brush gets in the way then. I like the roller ball system and it seems to do well on most surfaces when you discount the suction issue on carpet. By the way, when you call in for service they are quick to address the suction issue by having you remove the gasket in the roller head, which helps slightly but not enough to ignore the issue at all. One other thing I feel I must mention about the service department is if you look at the reviews you see a lot of canned responses from the Dyson team that don't really apply to the problem listed. Overall I believe they have made some changes that increase performance metrics, such as suction power, but have not really improved the customer user experience with many of these changes. I cannot totally endorse the product due to these issues. I had the Dyson DC14 Animal and actually prefer how it operates to this new one, it is just showing its age now and we needed something with performance like the older unit had when it was new.

This Vacuum is in a league of it's own! If you want power, and a great combination of attachments this vacuum is for you. Always wanted one just couldn't get myself to drop the coin. Well, finally broke down and made the purchase. If you question this purchase like I did, go for it. This vacuum will not let you down
