However, this model seems very flimsy. Its components are all plastic. After 15 minutes of use, both my wife and I concluded that it will not last very long. We do not recommend it to anybody.

In terms of the machine feeling flimsy, I’m happy to inform you that Dyson machines are made from polycarbonate ABS - the same material used in riot shields and crash helmets. They are tough, so we subject them to hours of testing, including drop and impact tests. Dyson machines are built to withstand years of residential household use.
