i have family members who own dyson and swear by them, this one lives up to everything i heard and puts my old machine to shame.

Great last vacuum. The angle on the ball mount is great and easy to use. Highly recommend.

it almost does everything for you! It just glides across the floor while you walk behind it. This is an amazing vacuum have never seen the floor so clean around our house.

This is supposed to be a good vacuum and had been recommended by my brother. Only problem is I was supposed to receive today from Best Buy but item delayed to over a month to receive. yet on their website it shows you can order now and pick up in-store in 5 days or get next day delivery.

Best vacuum u can buy but be warn do not vacuum shread printer paper or u might have to clean it out

First off - I am someone who actually enjoys vacuuming. It's satisfying, and can actually be fun for me. However, this enjoyment is gone with the Dyson MultiFloor. If you have dense pile carpet (plush) this is not the vacuum for you. This is due to the high suction (which is what you generally want in a vacuum), and the self adjusting height. When you try to use it on carpet with dense pile the suction pulls it down to a level that stops the roller brush. You can mitigate this somewhat by pushing/pulling very quickly, but the suction makes it very difficult to do this - to the point where you are basically getting a full body, aerobic workout when vacuuming- and I'm someone who enjoys exercising(this is not what you want when cleaning your house). I also find the design of the extension wand/hose/tools to be problematic. When using the wand the only option is to have it be long, which is nice for getting ceiling corners, but sometimes you need it shorter - doing stairs, getting in tight spots, cleaning a car(impossible with this machine), etc. But this is not possible with this vacuum - you always have to be 3(ish) feet away from what you are trying to vacuum. Additionally, the hose tends to collapse at the point where it attaches to the wand if you try to get close to what you are cleaning. We have had this machine for around six months, and I would not recommend this to a friend, nor would I be likely to buy another Dyson.

Great product , Sucks the dirt up really well .The vacuum is a little heavier and it takes some getting used to in order to maneuver it with the ball feature. Overall we are happy with our purchase.

I have always been a dyson fan and when I purchased this vacuum it exceeded my expectations. It's a little heavy but does a great job!

So far, so good! Great suction! I only wish it came with more attachments instead of having to purchase them separately.

Didn't think there would be a difference in brands when it came to vacuums, but this one is definitely better than our previous ones we've had.

Best vacuum cleaner I've ever bought in! It does everything it says it can and more

We had a DC28 Animal prior to this purchase and have enjoyed Dyson products up until this purchase. Within the first 3 times using it at home, there was a terrible burning smell like the motor was burning up. We called service and Dyson said it was normal and it was probably hair that was burning in the bristle brush area. They also said to avoid that smell - keep the brush area cleaned, so we did each and every time we used it afterward. Within the first 3 months of owning this, the entire unit stopped working. Service had us take it to a local repair shop where they had to replace the entire head assembly. This takes about a week to turn-around. I called and expressed my disappointment to Dyson at that time and informed them that I would like it noted that this was not a good start to a $400 vacuum. Fast forward to today (another 3 months of operation). The vacuum has stopped working again. Mind you, we have kept this as clean as possible by cleaning out the brush heads every time. Contacted service and they said to take it in for repair. I spent quite some time explaining to service that I would like a different model than this, I've been a customer for 6 years and have owned 3 different Dyson products. I requested that if they cannot provide a different model, than I would like a refund. I was then told that my 30 day trial period has expired and that there is nothing they can do to assist me but to take it in for warranty repair. I reminded them that I did call within the first 2 weeks to explain there was a burning smell and they never offered me to return it under their trial program. I should have just taken it back to Best Buy. I am extremely disappointed with Dyson and the way they are handling my $400 purchase. I would have expected a better product and especially better service from a company that prides themselves on their products. Because of this - I will NOT be buying a Dyson again and will look to their competitors just as I told the service rep on the phone.

I have used this model and the one larger than it and am not impressed at all. 1st off very expensive so i expected top notch performance and quality. Also, not an American company and NOT made in the USA. They are manufactured in Malaysia. And how sanitary is emptying the canister in the trash. Micro organisms/dust you know are escaping from the trash when you empty it. After awhile you can see the dust all over the unit itself. I decided to go to a local vacuum cleaner store that just deals with vacuum cleaners and they recommended I try Simplicity vacuum cleans. WOW I will NEVER go to another brand. Quality craftsmanship, NO canister but a HEPA bag that lasts awhile and suction Many Many times more than Dyson. And HIGH quality attachments, not the cheap hard to use ones that Dyson includes. And to top it off MADE IN THE USA. don't take my word give them a try,
