Okay this vacuum was on sale and I purchased it to put in the closet for the future because I love the brand... in truth.. the one I have needed to have the head replace twice because sewing thread and/or long hair is not a friend to the spinner brushes and you must be very vigilant about cleaning the head.. so really it’s may fault for the break down... but other then that this machine is great for hard and shag floor and vacuuming in general hence the reason why I bother to fix the old one and purchase this one at almost as good a deal as fixing the old one.. because you really can’t go wrong with Dyson ... and maybe I will gift this one to someone in needed of a great vacuum one day..

I have been pricing and looking at reviews for Dyson long before finally making this purchase. The price dropped on Deal of the Day so I bit the bullet and bought it! I don't have any regrets so far. The biggest difference between this vacuum and my Hoover is the agility in pushing it around. The Dyson is so much easier to push, pull and turn. I like the power of the Dyson as well. When using the attachments the suction is really great. I wouldn't pay full price for a Dyson though---wait until it goes on sale. They are pricey, but there is a noticeable difference!

Nice vacuum. Easy to use, light weight. Super maneuverable around furniture. Easy to switch flooring modes. Only down side was our old attachments like the small beater brush from our old Dyson do not fit these hose fittings.

I've been wanting to get Dyson for a long time. Did my research and pulled the trigger. Easy to operate and maintain.

Love the vacuum! Easy to use. Like that it is bagless. We have a cat and a dog that sheds and the Dyson vacuum does a great job picking up the hair on the carpet and hardwood floors.

Love this vacuum! We have 2 dogs and 1 cat and although not rated for pets it’s picks up all the hair without issue. It is a little heavy but it’s very easy to use and it’s a powerful machine.

I'll never own another brand. so lite and versatile.

I bought this for my mom, she was looking for a smaller vacuum. She was concerned about weight. Though there are slightly lighter vacuums on the market, I think this one hit the spot between weight and performance.

My Dyson gets the job done and quickly. Highly recommend to all.

The best and easiest vac to use. I love how easy it rolls around!

It's a decent vacuum. Good suction. Relatively light and the ball design makes it more maneuverable (tilt it to turn left/right). Cord isn't too long and is not retractable. Full price is higher than comparable vacuums from other brands so I'd suggest waiting for a sale.

A little bigger and heavier than we thought but has excellent suction and super easy to empty, small learning curve with its unique style steering but reall nice once you get use to it.

I got this Dyson to replace the Dyson I had had for 10 years, that finally kicked the bucket. I have mostly wood floors, with a few mats. I also have two dogs and sometimes a fair amount of clutter. So, it's important to me to have a vacuum that will do a great job cleaning the bare floors, and sucking the accumulated dust, grit and debris that collects in corners and crevices. This Dyson has a noticeably more powerful suction than my previous one, which itself had a great suction. I can clean shelves, computers, floors, stereos, and rugs. I also like that all the attachments from the older Dyson fit on the new one. The salesman was also very good. He let me try out the vacuums and just stood back until I made a decision.

Like, it really does suck. Not figuritavely... Litterally. It sucks rugs, shoe laces, charging cables, courtains... You name it. Be very careful around these objects and you should be just fine. Get rid of dirt, pet hair, etc. I love this thing. One thinv I would change is the way the onboard hose works. Kinda cumbersome. Tough to get used to. Also the folding wheel stand is a bit funky. But over all.... Great for vaccuming and points for style. Looks good in the hallway. It's a bit pricy but I got it on sale ant tottaly worth every penny.

This vacuum sucks like no other! Dyson does live up to the name. It will leave you in disbelief in what it pulls out of your carpets. It is fairly light and does a great job cleaning while expelling clean air.

With 2 dogs that shed and grandkids who spill this vacuum is awesome. Cleans thoroughly and several useful attachments for use on furniture.

Purchased this while on sale. It’s a great vacuum cleaner. Requires a little assembly when it arrives but it’s easy to assemble. Cleans carpets and bare floors easily.
