I have had this vacuum for 1.5 years and it has never worked properly. We have a small short hair dog and it is unable to pick up even 1/3 of the hair from our carpet, wood floors or furniture. Working with Dyson has also been a nightmare in trying to resolve the issue. Their only solution is to have us ship the vacuum back and forth to their facility for testing, and each time the vacuum performance does not improve.

I love this machine. I don’t have to switch from carpet to tile and wooden floors. I hated sweeping. This is a great machine !!

Takes a little assembly but nothing complicated.. Just 4 simple steps. Works like a charm. Very powerful suction.

I agonized over purchasing a new vacuum. Once I decided on this, it arrived, I’ve been thrilled. Easy to assemble, use, clean!

i have the dyson v7 animal and bought this for longer vacuum sessions. this animal can get all the fine dusts that other vacuums cant suck

Excellent suction and cleaning. Not quite as sturdy as I expected but works so well on our floors and carpet it doesn’t matter

great but heavy. for a lady it might be a bit too heavy so consider the weight

This machine is so easy to manoeuvre. I love that 1 button switch from carpet to hard floor. The suction is amazing

I was reluctant to purchase a high end vacuum but am completely satisfied with this purchase. I hadn't thought Dyson would perform this much better than my old vacuum.

I purchased this vacuum for my new home, mostly to pick up dog hair, and on occasion my gf's hair. Long hair get's stuck on the roller pretty frequently so I have to cut the hair off the roller. There's another vacuum that doesn't have this issue but it is significantly more expensive and not worth the extra cash. Got this one on sale so it wasn't too bad. The reason why I deducted one star is because although it's "filterless" it still has a filter in the ball area and they are hard to find. Thankfully, they last a long time but definitely something to consider. I would not pay the full price for this if I had to buy it again. It is worth getting the GSP on this though.

Like past Dysons it has reliable suction. My only complaint is that the hose takes a bit of getting used to to put away after using attachments.

Excellent and really powerful product. Very efficient, easy to move around because of this magical ball. Love it.

It works great as an upright vacuum. Cleaned carpet and floors very well and easy to use as an upright. The hose design (for using attachments) is nice and compact, but both my wife and I found using the hose to be awkward.

Excellent vacuum cleaner with reusable/washable filter, suction is super good, my 10 year carpet looked so clean like new.

Great vacuum, does a great job on per hair. We typically vacuum daily. I like how much faster it is to use and maneuver with the ball. Excellent vacuum.

Use my old vacuum first and carpets looked great. Then used the Dyson and WOW couldn't believe how much dirt and pet hair it pulled out it almost filled cannister.

I only regret not getting this sooner. Totally lives up to what everyone has been telling me about how well the Dyson family of products work.
