It's a little heavy, but very efficient and easy to use

I wanted to wait to do this review until adequate time had gone by since purchase. This is our first Dyson product, having come from "the other' brands. Man! We are impressed over and over by this machine. We have a combination of carpeted and hardwood floors in our 2400 sq ft home, and this covers us. We have used a Rainbow on our house before, and wanted to purchase one. The cost and lack of many carpeted rooms kept it from being close to practical. However, the Dyson has given us the same amount of satisfaction of its cleaning prowess, at a GREATLY reduced cost. Both my wife and I have been amazed at the amount of stuff it gets up out of the carpet. It was a bit more than we have invested in other vacuums in the past, but after so many just being OK, it is nice to have this beast sucking up our house. If it ever needs replacing, I can say right now that we will not look elsewhere than Dyson!

I love the way it works its easy to vaccum and its lite

I got this vacuum a month ago. So far it is my best friend for cleaning. It is very light, easy to move from room to room, reaches under the sofa and in corners easily. It works on multiple surfaces with easy switch from one to another, which is very convenient to clean different rooms in the house. Great purchase over all!!!

Very good vacuum! Good suction and easy to use . Easy to clean and light to handle! I did not try it on the stairs yet, hopefully it as good!

Vacuum was easy to assemble. Warranty was easy to register. We have a cat and a dog and three children 12 and under so we vacuum a lot. We have a dyson cordless and like it but the battery is not strong enough to finish even half the house. This vacuum has been a pleasant surprise. We bought it at a great price when it was the "deal of the day" and it has been more than we hoped for. Very powerful, great with pet hair, operates more quietly than most vacuums. Yes the cord can get in you way but it moves easily, is not heavy and works well. Very pleased.

Best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned! Powerful, easy to use, and affordable. My son has allergies and asthma, and this vacuum has made a big difference for him. I highly recommend Dyson!

I purchased this vacuum for my father's house. I already have this one and am very pleased with it. Very lightweight, bagless and it picks up everything !! Very easy to use! Highly recommend it

Got thi's Dyson as a deal of the day, they are over priced otherwise. I would have given it 5 stars but when you move it to the upright position it does not want to stay for transport. My home builder told me if I used a Dyson it would void the carpet protection plan. This is most likely because the beater bar is so aggressive. Overall very satisfied. The Dyson 2 is smaller than this model.

Very strange at first. Being on a ball is something that takes time getting use to. Great vacuum once you get the hang of it's movements. It has incredible suction...sometimes it's almost too much. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.

This is the best vacuum I've ever had. It's light weight Easy to assemble sucks the dirt right up. Attachments work great also

I love it. This vacuum has been extremely easy to clean, very well-made and sturdy. It is lightweight and vacuums VERY WELL. Overall, I would recommend this vacuum.

We tried this vacuum and it had some slight difficulties turning and using it. Since we have had other Dyson vacuums we knew that this wasn't like a normal Dyson. After 2 weeks we returned it to Best Buy and they replaced the original vaccuum. The second vacuum has worked great and is easy for our teenage boys to use for sweeping. In addition, the extension cord is long enough to sweep our larger rooms in the house.

I've had an old Dyson multi-floor vacuum for years, and it worked great, but the dust bin was small and the attachments were lacking. This newer model picks up more dirt before needing to be emptied, and the attachments are more useful (and the length of the stair cleaner tube is much longer). Great vacuum, although a bit pricey. If it lasts for several years like the last one did, it'll be more than worth the price tag.

Bought this vacuum on a one day sale and received a great price at 219.00. Very easy to put together, and picks up everything thing very well. The vacuum is heavy and could be hard for some to bring up stairs.

So glad I bought this. I've been tired of buying the cheap vacuums that don't pick anything up. Spend a little more for a Dyson. It's worth it in the long run. The suction is awesome. Get this vacuum!

This vacuum is replacing another Dyson and this, if possible, is even better than the first model. It options work with ease, do the job as well as I can imagine and make cleaning a worthy use of time. i hate to think of cleaning as delightful, but this vacuum meets a standard than none have ever touched.

Works incredible! It almost makes me sick with how much dirt and dust this vacuum was picking up over the shark when I used one and what was being left behind still on the carpets without using the dyson. It's a must have for a household

I initially bought this for myself to replace an older, heavier upright vacuum. The assembly is a little fiddly thanks to the minimalist instructions that come with it. This thing cleans SO well. You can turn the brush on or off depending on what surface you are using. Super easy to empty and clean the canister and the filters are washable. Maneuvers great and easy to lift via the handle. The ball assembly and plastic wheels feel a little cheap for the price but otherwise this is a solid piece of machinery. I loved mine so much that I bought the same one for my mother. The amount of cat hair she is able to pick up with this vacuum is pretty impressive!

Previously owned a Dyson, wouldn't buy a different brand, great suction and easy to use
