I was hesitant to spend the money on a vacuum. I had Hoovers previously and thought they were good... until I vacuumed with this bad boy!

I am a proud owner of this unit. It has great suction power, easy to operate and maintain. Works as described. If ever needed to be repaired, or you wanted to get a new filter or a brush, it is easy to find parts and install it on your own. Hope that it would last as long as my other two models (nearly 10 years each). Very happy.

Quiet and powerful, this vacuums does the job better than other vacuums we have owned. We have carpeting in every room so we need a strong vacuum. My wife thinks it's a little heavy but our previous vacuum was a canister so that might be tainting her opinion.

I waited forever to purchase a Dyson. The last time it was on sale I decided to purchase and I am so happy I did. It is a great vacuum. It is easy to use and does a great job on multiple surfaces. I am not too fond of emptying the canister, wish dyson made bagged models. I've only had the vacuum a few weeks. Overall I am pleased and hope that it lasts.

I had a smaller and older version Dyson that I accidentally dropped down a flight of stairs and broke the housing, so I got this one as a replacement. This one sucks very well but the ability to turn left and right is a little harder than the DC24 animal I had.

I'm definitely glad I jumped on the sale price for this vacuum, it's much stronger than any I've used before. It's insane how much this picks up compared to vacuums I've used before.

Works great!!! Brought it home and had it together in less than 10 minutes. Vacuumed with our old vacuum then with our Dyson and couldn't believe how much more the Dyson picked up!!

Excellent suction, as you would expect from a Dyson. It is very loud and doesn’t move as easy as the Shark vacuum I had. The cord is plenty long so you don’t have to unplug it very often. Five stars because I purchased it for the pick up power. I think the movement is fine, just different than the other I had.

Used to have the old bag vacuum and cannot believe how different and better this works. For the right price this vacuum is up there in ability and well worth it.

This is our second Dyson vacuum and we are very happy with the performance. We would recommend it to anyone and it is lighter weight than our other Dyson--so happy with that as well.

We have two dogs and a cat in our house and this works wonderfully to get the hair out of the carpets. It's also nice that we can turn off the brush portion for use on the hard wood floors and it still works very well to pick up the hair. In one case it actually works too well on a rug we have and it ends up sticking to the rug the suction is so powerful. Highly recommended.

This vacuum is very quiet and the roller-ball makes it effortless to use. I tested it on a rug I had just cleaned with my older Hepa-Filter model and was shocked at how much pet hair and dirt was lifted by the new Dyson. It was easy to empty and I would recommend this unit to anyone who may have shoulder/arm issues pushing-pulling their current vacuum over surfaces.

My first Dyson and wow... easy to set up in less than 5 minutes. So much power that all you have to do is guide it. All the accessories included make cleaning whatever/whenever so convenient and easy. Never thought I'd spend hundreds of dollars on a vacuum but the quality and power is DEFINITELY worth the investment. Highly recommend this bad boy!

Before purchasing this Dyson vacuum I didn't believe it could live up to all the hype. Wow, was I wrong. This vacuum is amazing.

This is about the closest thing to the vacuum cleaners of our Mother's era. Albeit made of plastic instead of metal, it is very powerful and very efficient.

I have mixed feelings with this vacuum. It has phenomenal suction, and from this perspective it is great for carpeted rooms, especially large ones or ones that get a lot of dirt in them - you can't beat this for picking up gunk. With that said, It is heavy and despite using the interesting ball roller for a wheel for moving around, it is kind of unwieldy to use. Don't try doing stairs with this thing. Also, the accessories hose and the method for how it connects is just plain weird and difficult to use.

I have had a dyson for 9 years now and it is a great vacuum. I decided to buy another one because it was the deal of the day and it’s another great Dyson

I have become a huge Dyson fan over the years. This vacuum is easy to carry up and down the stairs, cleaning power for picking all the lose hair and carpet is outstanding. It picks up dog hair with ease. Nice to finally clean the ceilings fans without much effort. I highly recommend this dyson vacuum.

it is really great product and above my expectation. I found lower price somewhere else and I returned and bought the same from other place, but product itself is great.

Dyson pretty much set the standard for the modern vacuum cleaner... every other brand of vacuum I've looked at, purchased or considered purchasing tries in some way or another to look and function like a Dyson. Dyson is known for their engineering and technology and hence the premium price tag -- and it's the price tag that always prevented me from purchasing one and going with a knock-off. In fact I purchased a Hoover React recently instead of this Dyson but the Hoover was disappointing so I decided to bite the bullet and get this ball vacuum. I WILL NEVER LOOK BACK! This vacuum rocks and sucks dirt like a tornado... the same carpet I had just vacuumed with the Hoover React proved to still contain a lot of dust since the Dyson immediately started filling up with all kinds of "stuff" that Hoover didn't pick up. Needless to say, I returned the Hoover, and keeping the Dyson until the wheels fall off... and then I will buy another Dyson. This vacuum is IMPRESSIVE and you'll never know how dirty your floor is until you use a Dyson to vacuum it!
