This vacuum is very nice. Pros: It has great suction power. I like the way it moves around corners. I like how you can dump the dirt out without touching anything gross (I didn't think this would work very well originally, but I am very glad it does!). Switching from carpet to hardwood is very easy. Cons: It's a pretty heavy vacuum. I'm a small person (5') and it gives me a bit of a workout. I would never buy this for a multi floored home. The hose is also a little weird and will take some time to get used to. The power cord on this model is only two pronged instead of a three prong. Idk, how big of a deal that is but I don't like it. Overall, I would buy this vacuum again. I like the 5 year warranty that comes with it. It makes me feel like Dyson stands by their products.

Works well, moves nicely, but a little on the heavy side.

Normally we wouldn't splurge on a vacuum cleaner like this but we caught this Dyson on sale and have been very pleased with its performance thus far. We have mostly hardwoods but a little carpet upstairs and it cleans both very well and is easy to maneuver. The suction really can't be matched by other vacuums out there. We've had Sharks for years and they are very good as well but seem to only have a lifespan of about 2 years. With the stock 5 year warranty from Dyson I have full faith and confidence we'll end up saving money in the longrun.

This vacuum does everything well! Very easy to put together. Great suction power, from wood and tile to carpet/rugs, adjusting as needed. Very easy to clean. Only thing, it's a little heavy to push. Overall a great vacuum!

I was skeptical of spending more than the usual $60 I spend for a Hoover. I’m impressed with the ease and performance this Dyson provides.

Can't believe my dog has any hair left on his body. This vacuum picked up so much dog hair, it was unbelievable. Very easy set up. Very easy to use.

According to my previous experience of Dyson Vacuum unit, this unit is quiet smaller than my previous one but does job as good as my previous model. Pros: Dyson Cons: Cord and vacuum hose are too short.

It's pricier than most vacuums, but you get what you pay for. I wanted something that would actually clean the carpet, not just clean what was on the surface. It has not disappointed. You do have to "assemble" the Dyson when you first unbox it. The directions are for the most part straight forward. The fact that you use the same button to remove the bin from the vacuum and to dispose of the dust/trash is brilliant. The only issue I had was figuring out how to slant the handle on the Dyson in order to vacuum. You just put some pressure down onto the handle and voila!

It took some convincing to have my fiance on board that the Dyson was worth all the high bow is putting it through. And boy did it deliver he was astounded at how much it had picked up that our previous vacuum had left in the floor after we just used it... I vacuum with the old one and then this one just to prove a point. 100% recommend to every household. I love that I can use it on my tile hardwood and carpet seamlessly!

Best vacuum I've ever owned! Ability to go from carpet to bare floor without stopping is awesome. Emptying wastebin is easiest and cleanest I've ever seen.

This is my third dyson of this same vacuum. I liked mine so much, that I got one for my sister, and one for my mother. Works like a champ, the suction is amazing! I’ve always liked vacuums with bags versus bagless containers. But I have learned to get used to emptying it. I empty mine out in the fire pit in the backyard so the dust is not going all over the house when emptying into the garbage can. Great purchases.

Never thought I could afford a Dyson or that it would be worth the high price. Got a heck of a deal at half the price on a Deal of the Day and took a shot. I've only used it a couple of times, both on a hard surface and deep carpets. The suction of this machine is amazing! Dealing with long hair and being allergic to dust have been my two main issues. The Dyson easily picks up the hair without it getting wound around the bristles. And dumping the dirt collector is a breeze. Highly recommend this product.

Love this vacuum. Works well on carpet and hardwood. Sucks up the entire rug if not careful!

It is easy and comfortable to use, and first time I used it picked up a lot of dirt and pet hair that had obviously been left by my previous cleaner.
