Purchased based off of reviews. Works as promised. The suction is better than most of the vacuums I've owned over the years. Most other vacuums only hold up for about two years.... I'm hoping to get at 5 or 6 from Dyson for what I paid. I would purchase again from Best buy at the sale price but I would not pay 400 just to own a Dyson.

Light, easy to maneuver, cleans well, and made well

Our Dyson of 20 years began to break down, and we decided not purchase parts, but to buy a new vacuum. This one works just as good as the old one if not better! So, we went ahead and purchased a second one! Both are terrific. Lots of suction power!!!! Let's hope that it will last as long as the old one.

To be honest, I thought could it really be worth the price? Is it really better than my Shark at $75 more? The answer is YES... We vacuumed the floor like normal, the Shark picked up well. Then used the Dyson over the same area... I couldn't believe what was still in the carpet. All I can say is Worth it..

I really like the suction power of this vacuum...at times it can almost be too much the tools are a little awkward to use but that doesn’t make it impossible...just not the easiest thing to do If you want a vacuum that picks up everything on the floor or rug, then this is a very good vacuum when we bought ours it was on sale, the sticker price is ridiculous but if you can get it in sale, go for it

Powerful suction; moves well, but the ball on my vacuum makes a squeak sound when in motion.

I didn't believe all the hype, so when my old vacuum quit, I bought this one. Now I'm a believer.

I had a Dyson that lasted about 8 years before a plastic part snapped off. I replaced that vacuum with another brand, but I had been spoiled....it just didn't work as well. When I saw this Dyson on sale, I bought it. Perhaps I'm influenced by my previous experience, but I'm skeptical of some of the plastic parts on this vacuum. It does have good suction and does a nice job. I just wonder how long it will last before it breaks.

If this cleaner doesn’t clean your carpet you may need new carpet! Just remember to empty the canister frequently—perhaps multiple times while vacuuming, especially the first time. You will be amazed what other vacuums leave behind! And, Best Buy offered the best price!

Was using an Oreck upright with a bag. I needed something with a hose for getting the corners and tight spots. This is perfect. Strong suction and does a great job. I really like the quick empty, detachable canister. I got about 50% off on a daily deal. I am glad I saw it.

Initially, I wasn’t sure what all thr hype was about, but I knew I wanted one. On first use, I could see the difference in how clean my carpets were compared to an old bag vacuum. This thing picked uo more dirt in one use than other vacuums in a weeks worth. Highly recommended, especially if you have allergies.

This vacuum picks up everything and is really fun to use. The attachments and extension hose are eat for stairs and under furniture. The multi floor setting let’s me vacuum my kitchen and bathrooms. My house has never looked better!

Very good quality, like that the extension hose is stored in the unit not wrapped around the unit like our other one.My wife likes the ball steering, makes it a lot easier for her.Suction is great.Helps that I bought it on deal of the day for 219.00.

I love my Dyson! This is the 2nd Dyson I have owned. I gave my original to a family member and it still worked great. I replaced it with this machine. I love the ball feature- i am able to reach places easier than my original Dyson. Suction is amazing also!

I cant say enough about this vacuum. An excellent purchase. It has plenty of power with or without the brush on. I never realized my carpet was so dirty till I bought this Dyson. They might be on the more expensive than other brands of vacuums, but after owning this one I cant imagine going back to a cheaper brand.. This one will spoil you.
