This Dyson was the Deal of the Day for $199 and I didn’t hesitate. We had vacuumed weekly - weekly - with an old tired Hoover and the first go round on this filled the canister in one use. Pros: Suction Power No bag replacement Quiet Maneuverability Tools Long cord Cons: None so far

Lightweight even though it’s a first generation Dotson it still does a great job in cleaning can’t beat the price

Vaccuum has very good suction as is easy to empty.

My last 2 vacumns have been Dysons. The first 2 lasted between 10-12 years. I just bought a dyson ball. It is even easier to use and gets into lower spaces. They are easy to take apart when a lazy household member vacumns up a pen or something. Very easy to empty into trash and I love not using bags!

The Dyson does what it says it does...and feels and looks so much better than the retro-future cheese-ball spaciness of the Shark.

I didn't really expect this to work much better than are older vacuum, but this one has much more power behind it. On the downside though, it's also considerable heavier. This is not something I would enjoy walking up and down stairs as I get older.

Dyson brand vacuums are a must have! I just replaced my previous Dyson upright vacuum that I've had for 10+ years with this one. Lucked out and caught the one day sale and literally got it for half the price! This vacuum is easy to maneuver and light weight

I've bought the cheaper ones, thinking they would be just as good, but I was wrong. You can't get anything that compares to a Dyson. Should've spent the money before, rather than trying to save.

This is my third Dyson vacuum. My wife swears by them - we have tried several other brands that were a lot cheaper than Dyson but they just didn't perform the same as a Dyson. The Dyson is well built (no cheap parts) and has great suction. My only grip is the price. I was lucky enough to get a great deal on Best Buy during Christmas (saved $200!). If you can, wait until there is a good sale.

Lost the Dyson DC25 in the divorce and I liked it enough to replace it with this. It's definitely bigger and more powerful, but maybe less nimble than the DC25. Then again, maybe it will losen up after a few more uses. Overall it's a great vacuum and meets my expectations on my tile and carpets in a 2800 square foot house.

Quality product from a solid company. This vac was easy to assemble. It has been easy to clean. I have used this vac in my apartment on hard and carpeted floor, it makes the transition well. Not a huge amount of unnecessary attachments or overly complicated. Just a good working vacuum.

I Vacuumed my house with a very cheap and very old vacuum one day and noticed all the debris left on the carpet. I decided to buy a new vacuum and found this machine. I was surprised how much dirt this pulled out of carpets that even looked clean. It also flawlessly goes over carpet to hardwood and hardwood to carpet.

This is our 2nd Dyson...the first one was on its last legs after 10yrs and 2 dogs.

Vacuum works great. Easy transition from rug to bare floor. Love the fact that it came with a 5 year warranty!

I've been saving up and did a lot of research for this vacuum and I have to say that I am very happy with my purchase. Very powerful vacuum picked up so much from my carpet and floor. I don't need to buy filters also. The hose and attachments are a little hard to work with though.

This vacuum sucks, but that's a good thing. It's 1000x better than my last vacuum. It picks up almost anything on any surface. I also like how the wand can be taken out and is super extendable to grab tough spots on the ceiling too.

Such a powerful machine. I replaced a handheld vacuum and the amount of debris the Dyson picked up made it seem as if I had never cleaned before. It is bulkier and heavier than my previous vacuums however, it is very maneuverable.

one of the best vacuums i've ever purchased hands down. The suction power on this vacuum is not even comparable. I can care less for the cordless dyson vacuum as they have a short operating period, if you have OCD like i do, you know you'll be vacuuming for more than 30 minutes.

I bought this for my mother on my best buy card. The no interest is great, but the vacuums are on the steep side in price. I do like best buy and will shop again and probably again. Thanx
