Checked out some reviews and was debating between this and a shark but ended up with this one. A little heavy but maneuvers really great!

I have 2 Dysons and they are the best vacuums that I have ever used. We have owned more expensive vacuums but never better.

I went to the store to buy a Eureka and was disappointed that they had non in stock, so I bought the Dyson thinking that it was 2nd best. I was wrong It turned out to be a great machine. Excellent suction, very maneuverable, and a nice long cord. The carpet even feels better when you walk on it in your bare feet.

Suction is excellent. Some time too much as it makes it hard to move on a couple of my rugs but the suction is why you buy a Dyson and its appearance. Would have loved to have the canister detach with the accessory hose and nozzle feature like a competitor's as it is somewhat limiting in its design and the release to vacuum with a lever or foot depress action but other than that "excellent".

I bought the Dyson in June 2020 and the suction when you vacuum normal is still good but when I use the reachable, extended hose the vacuum starts to make a different noise then eventually shuts off. I also read in another review about troubles making the vacuum “click” to stay in The upright position and that was true.

We picked up this vacuum as a back up to our primary Dyson so we wouldn't have to carry the main one up and down the stairs. It is relatively compact and does an efficient job at both carpet and flat surfaces. It has all the interchangeable parts with its bigger brother dyson. Don't know if I had paid full retail if it would have had the same value proposition but on sale was a good deal.

Dyson vacuums are the best out there. Have had one of the originals for about 15 or so years and it still works, but decided it was time to upgrade. This one does not disappoint and is even better than the original. 5 out of 5 stars!

I'm very happy thus far with this vacuum cleaner. It is very maneuverable, has great power, is easier to handle than our previous vacuum cleaners. Best Buy was great to work with, the local store was out of this model but they located one and had it here in a couple of days!

We held off purchasing a Dyson for a couple years. Why did we wait? Perfect for a mixed floor environment. Go get one!

Other other Dyson was giving up after 10 plus years of carpet cleaning service in a busy household with kids. Thank you Dyson for providing a substitute that was not only just as good as the original work horse, but better.

I bought this because it was a deal of the day and I was always curious about the Dyson brand and it's reputation for sucking lol! I have always heard how good the suction power was and how easy they were to maneuver. This has definitely lived up to my expectations and then some.

First Dyson we've ever owned and we love it. My wife is impressed with how much more the Dyson picks up than its competitor ($300 brand name Vaccuum). It's easy to handle and it's great that it has a long hose extension. I would recommend this to everyone and even bought a 2nd one after my purchase for my mother.

After using my old vacuum a few times on the same day, the dyson was still able to fill all the way up! Best vacuum ever

This is an awesome little vacuum cleaner. If there was one complaint I have, it is that the attachment pole is stiff, which makes it difficult to use it sometimes.

I wouldn't have believed how good this is until i tried it. This vacuum is amazing. Everything smells clean when you're done. It's easy to maneuver, empty, and put together. It's a very smart design and very strong. I would gladly recommend this to anyone looking for a new vacuum they want to just work.

I would never typically spend $400-$500 on a vacuum cleaner, but since I purchased this Dyson on sale for $250, it was worth every penny! It has great suction, but it's a bit too good for small area rugs--even when I turn off the rotating brushes it still manages to lift the rug up. Other than that, great buy!

Purchased a band new Dyson DC65 Multi Floor Vacuum on Nov 3, 2015 after using Hoover Vacuum for almost 10 years. I had high expectation from the new Dyson Vacuum DC65 since it was a quite expensive (over $500, x2 more expensive than Hoover) and popular. However, we are so disappointed with the quality, usability, moreover the life of the machine. Here are the reason why: 1) The Vacuum top section (handle and bin) does not stand well and keep falling down. 2) Vacuum bin keeps falling off from the vacuum body at least 2~3 times per vacuuming. 3) Vacuum bin’s top red switch broke after 1.5 year. Although we can still push it by using a pen. 4) Vacuum attachment does not have any suction…..happened TODAY. (a plastic parts was broken - see images) It’s been only 2 years and 5 months since we purchased it and it is already garbage. We have 2.5BR house with about 1700 sqft. Used DC65 just like the old Hoover vacuum machine. The fact is……..the Hoover was 1/2 price and lasted 8 more years than Dyson DC65. Dyson products might look good but the quality and the service sucks. THERE IS REASON WHY DYSON PROVIDES ONLY 6 MONTH WARRANTY!!! It's not worth the money and I do not recommend any of the Dyson products. DO NOT GET FOOLED BY THE PAID REVIEW WRITERS!!! Check other 1 star review.

Dyson makes the most lightweight durable sweeper available to buy. I love how it makes turns easily and sweeps close to baseboards. I can carry it upstairs without struggling and it's not too loud. I would buy again.

Best vacuum ever. Most definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a vacuum.
