Bought this vacuum when it was on sale for 200. Works well on carpet, tile and hardwood floors. We use it regularly between full house cleanings. Only real complain would be with cleaning stairs ... it requires the use of the hose while the base stays on one of the floors. not as convenient as a canister or stick vac, but if you use it just for floors, it works great.

I always used shark vacuums and didnt use a dyson because it is so expensive. We bought this on deal of the day almost half off. It has been really good but I will admit the shark is almost as good. But the dyson on sale is a great vacuum just not great at full price.

I was looking to buy a new vacuum, my old one just quit on me. I've been eyeing this vacuum for a long time, but wasn't sure if it was the money. I am so happy i made this purchase. The suction power on this thing is unreal! it really cleans. It is a little heavy, but you get use to it really quick.

This vacuum is very good and does a great job. I first bought it for my apartment for carpet and it did the job. Now moved to like a vinyl hard floor, it does a so so job. Of course its best to sweep up first then go over the floor, but if I just vacuum, I feel it doesn't pick up all the dirt. That may be due to the floor, not so much the vacuum. The connector pieces work well and the stick extends very long to get the hard to reach places in corners and corners of the ceiling areas. This helps so you don't need to move everything around just to get to cleaning the dust and residue that builds up. I do feel the plastic on many of the parts can be a little sturdier as I have broken two pieces while disassembling it for monthly cleaning of the filters. Luckily the manufacturer sent me the parts no charge, but still, such an expensive product can be just a bit more sturdier.

Let me start by saying this is a good vacuum. But... for the hype and the price they could do WAY better. It has excellent suction! Wow my old carpet has century old dirt sucked up that my old vacuum couldn't get to. There is not cord winder and the hooks the cord hangs on are flimsy and feel as though the could snap right off. The back wheels for rolling the unit when not in use don't click into place very easily. This is also the switch to turn on/off the hose unit. Why can't I select this feature with a push button instead off vacuum position? Because of this the top of handle where hose attachment hides will suck on your hand until you engage vacuum or turn off, lame, where's my switch? In the wheel position. The dust bucket attachments are flimsy and feel as though they could break off easily. I hate having to feel as though I have to treat my vacuum gently instead of man-handeling around. Works great but made with thin, low density plastic. Be careful with it.

I was skeptical on this vacuum at first but have grown to love it. The initial feeling was a little flimsy and cheap but once I got used to it it worked great.

I’m so excited about my Dyson, it’s amazing how it cleans. I’ve used other brands and they don’t measure up as well. I have 3 boys and they were surprised how their carpets became so plush again!!!

This vacuum was a GREAT buy. The suction is AMAZING. It is a little heavier than most vacuum but your carpet will look new after a good use with this Dyson Vacuum. I love it. Im sure you will too it was worth the money. Good Buy!

Vacuumed my carpet in the house we just bought. I ran the old vacuum first just to test it; the amount of dirt and hair the Dyson picked up was staggering. We were shocked at how well it worked.

This is the best vacuum Ive ever had and I've been through quite a few. The mobility, power, and build quality are what really brings this unit together as a quality product. I always knew Dyson was one of the leaders in the vacuum industry and it shows why. A+ product.

This vacuum works really well. If you have plush carpet it maybe difficult to move but when it does it picks up everything. Overall excellent but if you have extremely plush carpet may consider alternatives. The roller brush does help pull the vacuum on regular carpet surfaces.

Awesome little vacuum. We've dealt with cheaper, bargain vacuums before and decided to give this one a try and havent been disappointed. Easily stored and works very well on Our carpets and tile.

You won't believe some of the stuff you find in the canister after using this vacuum cleaner, especially if you have pets. Just tons of dust, dirt and pet hair gets vacuumed up in just a few minutes. The Dyson ball upright is a great size and easy to maneuver with a clever design that allows it to roll around with ease. We liked it so much we bought a 2nd and BestBuy has a great price on these when they are on sale (about half price) in various deals of the day etc. Both are still going strong, we also love the Dyson handhelds.

i don't think I will every own a different vacuum cleaner other than Dyson. It works great for vacuuming my wood floors and tile floors but mostly all the dog hair. This is my second Dyson and I have never had a problem with the suction after 10+ years on my first one.

Dyson makes the best vacuums (at least that we have used) and this one is no exception. It is especially great at getting under the edges of tables and chairs and the ball makes turning especially easy. Dyson is the only vacuum I would buy!

I was a bit intimidated, at first when the vacuum arrived. However when I did use it I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of power it has. The price was right for me, and I am glad I made the decision to make this purchase

I bought this on a one day deal. This thing blew me away the first time it was used. It picked up stuff that my other vaccum didnt. Works great and lives up to its reputation. Get this!! You will love it.

I must say this vacuum cleaner, out preforms anything I have ever owned. It doesn't have a bunch of accessory's that I will never use. The sales price was great, but the performance of this vacuum is far greater than any thing I have ever owned.
