Best vacuum I've ever owned. Was amazed at how much it pulled out of my carpet. Absolutely like it. Easy to dispose/empty canister and upkeep of the vacuum.

Strong suction, easy to maneuver, easy to clean. Happy with this purchase especially with the discount I got from Best Buy deal of the day.

For years, I've heard about Dyson and what it could do, but I always thought that a regular old vacuum -70$ would be just fine, and work just as good... until I moved into a house and realized I needed something much more powerful to keep up with three kids who refuse to sit still on a daily basis. This is by far the best vacuum I've ever bought, even after two months of constant use and abuse. Great investment, even if the price is a little crazy.

This picked up a ton of dirt my old vacuum left behind. Dyson isn't just hype, the product lives up to the name! I won't ever use another brand again.

I've had a DC14 Complete for years. I used to think that was the best Vacuum I've ever owned. That was until I brought this baby home and give it a roll. When I unboxed it, I thought I had made a mistake. I thought it seemed a little cheap and "plasticy". That all went away once I plugged it in and started using it. I immediately noticed that the suction was much better than my old DC14. The suction is so much better, that I can't do area rugs or the bathroom rugs with it. I'm definitely happy with this unit and would highly recommend it.

Why didn’t we buy a Dyson sooner? Seriously...... Got it on sale which was great, vacuumed the day before with our old one, tried the Dyson our and the canister looked like we hadn’t vacuumed in months. :o Powerful suction, Best I’ve used, good enough to actually be effective on hard floors. The controls are easy and intuitive. The design is just brilliant, so much packed in a small space. The self adjust brush head is so great, and the whole locking hose system is freaking GREAT. All the attachments actually work the way they’re supposed to. About the only criticisms I have is that you have to remove the cord entirely even if you just want to grab the hose for a quick mess. Also, I have a feeling the mechanisms that run the retracting wheels on the back that change the modes won’t last very well only time will tell!

Easy assembly, great for all types of floors and easy to switch from one floor to the next. Powerful and picks up everything. Easy canister to empty. Light weight nice to maneuver. I have a long set of stairs and this hose reaches to the top very easily and does a great job.

This vacuum is all it is touted to be! Perfect for any single family home. The suction is awesome and gives any surface a superb cleaning!

This is our second Dyson, and our first Dyson Ball. I loved our first one, but after my husband took it apart to clean it, it was never the same. We finally bit the bullet and bought a new ball version. The suction, of course, is amazing. The vacuum is a little heavier than our previous Dyson, and it takes some getting used to in order to maneuver it with the ball feature. Overall we are happy with this, but for someone with little upper body strength it would be a problem.

I put off purchasing a Dyson for years because of the price. Bad mistake. I found this on sale and finally bought it. Before I used it I vacuumed with my old vacuum cleaner which I thought did a good job. Then went over with the Dyson.Was I ever amazed. It picked up so much more that the old vacuum missed it made me shiver. The only thing I don't like about it is it has so much suction it's hard to use the extendable hose. It keeps trying to collapse. The Dyson is really a great machine. Well worth the money

I had this model previously and had really good results. It really picks up and cleans well. It is very easy to use and maneuver.

Great vacuum, assembled very easily and has terrific suction but I have all wooden floors and I have a fairly shark vacuum as well and as much as I like the wider suction head and easy movement of the days on, I did not feel I was getting more then the shark wa# giving me already and the shark had more features but again, I don’t want to take away anything from the Dyson. Phenominal vacuum but the price difference was not worth it for me so I returned it

This is a great vacuum with incredible suction, the only downfall that Dyson did when thy made these style vacuums was create a mesh at the top of the canister where fine dirt or whatever may be in the carpet gets trapped and there is no way of removing it. This causing a bad smell over a period of time from not being able to remove the debris inside the mesh part. Other than that this is a great vacuum that does everything it says it does.

Dysons are powerful and very well constructed. It is loud and its size doesn't allow you to clean tiny spots under the sofa. You will have to move some furniture as you vacuum the space, but it does work very well to clean your apartment!

This is my favorite vacuum. We have a dog that sheds a lot and it gets all of the hair out of the carpet. Love it!!

Bought it on sale for a great price. And I love how good it works . When you empty the container you amazed by the amount that it picks up. Or grossed out at the possibility that your carpet had that much crud .lol

I bought this during Black Friday because it was an awesome price and since I have been looking for a vacuum cleaner for a while, I decided to try out Dyson. I have only owned 2 vacuums in the last 20 years, a basic Oreck upright which I gave my parents and a Miele. Well, the Oreck finally died after 18 years so I needed to buy another my folks. I was a little skeptical about the product due to several negative reviews on the construction of the Dyson vacuums. To start, the vacuum cleaner came unassembled so it wasn't ready for use straight out of the box. And although it was not super complicated, the visual directions weren't the most descriptive, especially on how the machine starts. I thought I had done something wrong because when I plugged it in, the air/suction was blowing through the top where the handle is and the roller head was not turning. I happened to unlock the handle (take it out of the standing position) while I was searching for where I went wrong and in doing so engaged the roller head and suction to the canister! After a slow start, I will say that the vacuum cleaner did a an excellent job of suctioning up dirt. I vacuumed about 500 SQ feet of lightly treaded upon carpet that has been vacuumed regularly every 2 weeks. To my amazement, the canister was 1/3 full of dirt/dust! That was from one pass. That just means the vacuum cleaner I used in the past did not do a good job of suctioning up the dirt! I haven't had a chance to revacuum but am curious to see how much more will be picked up. The cleaner is constructed with what appears to be rather cheap plastic so I'm wondering how it will hold up with wear. There are no rubber bumpers to absorb any impact should you accidentally hit it up against something so that's a negative. The other negative is when you turn off the roller to vacuum a fine rug, the suction is so powerful that it's difficult to move the vacuum across the surface. But, it works well on non carpeted flooring. All in all, I'm pleased with the vacuum cleaner. I just hope that it will hold up in terms of durability.
