Literally snap four things into place, plug it in and you're off. So many products I buy these days are made by manufacturers that don't understand the human experience in using their products. Dyson is the best I've witnessed in a long time. I have hardwood floors and so far so good. Easy to maneuver and easy to store due to how sleek it is. I would not pay full price for a Dyson however. Got this kn the $200 off deal of the day.

Met my skepticism with quality

It really does a good job. Most impressive to me is that is has accessories that ACTUALLY work. They are not an afterthought add-on. It does maneuver very well. My only complaint is that sometimes it does not want to stay in the upright locking position when finished.
