Really disappointed didnt live up to my expectatio

Finally its on sale and I purchased it. But My 8 year old hoover windtunnel worked better than the dyson. Even though dyson has better suction power between the two, but the brush does not go deep enough to sweep the dirts from the root of carpet fiber strands. I first vacuum my place with dyson, then I used the hoover afterwards, the hoover picked up almost half a cup more dirt. Which was not picked up by dyson. All the high tech mumbo jambo. What good is a product if it cant deliver. Hoover has adjustable brush, which dyson supposed to adjust automaically on its own. Unfortunately didnt do a very good job. I am really bummed. Dyson put me down.
