It's scary how much dirt, dust, and hair this thing pulled up even though I used it right after cleaning parts of my house with the old one. I read a review of this vacuum that said you should be prepared to empty it 3-4 times in your first use. "Yeah, right," I thought. Now that I've used it, they weren't kidding. Two thumbs up from me.

Still adjusting to this Vac

I heard lots of great things about Dyson vacuums, and it was on a great deal so I went for it. I'm still learning, but my biggest issue is the sucking accessory. It's not the best, and you have to be further away from whatever you are aiming for. Frustrating. It does a nice job on the rest of my house, but it still won't reach as far underneath some items in my home. Guess I'll stick with it, but if I find a great deal on my previous vacuum I'm grabbing it.

Good vacuum for household use!
