    Works fine on our hardwood and laminate floors but very difficult to use on carpet. The suction is too strong that my wife cannot use without causing her discomfort in her arm.

    I bought this for $299 as a Black Friday 2015 deal and I love it! My house is 80% hardwood/tile so I don't even pick up a broom anymore. The only negative thing is that I bought a separate vacuum for my rugs because this Dyson is so strong it literally is tearing up my rugs. I'm still giving it a 5 because I don't know what I would do with it! Just be careful on really thick rugs, it will get either stuck and I will straight eat it and ruin your rug.
