Had to replace my 12 yr old Dyson Animal & got this newer version. Still an amazing vacum and will highly recommend to everyone. I have 3 dogs & 3 cats & this vacum leaves nothing behind.

does a great job of picking up dirt and cleaning the house. However within 1.5 yrs of owning it, it shorted out. Smoke coming from the housing unit. Plugging it back in 2 days later shorted our circuit and tripped the breaker. Dyson should definitely look into their quality control. Got it replaced a few days back through bestbuy.

Cleans better then any other vaccum we have owned.

This is my 3rd Dyson & they keep getting better. .

This is the second Dyson that I have purchased. The first one is over 10 years old and still works flawlessly. My wife wanted a second vacuum for upstairs. She was tired of moving the first one up and down the stairs (first world problem ;-) ). I would not hesitate to buy a Dyson product. They are worth the price.

This is my second one in 20 years and I upgraded. I would have preferred more the tools to be on-board but the stair attachment is an added bonus. I would however suggest that Best Buy not sell a display model in box, as it has extra stickers all over the canister and I question if the display version is the same as a non-display unit. You might want to check in the box first.

Would have given 5 stars if the vacuum attachment clipped onto the vacuum itself., instead of having to put them in canvas bag ( that’s usually in the other room) that comes with the vacuum, and if the bag at least have a Velcro closure so attachments didn’t fall out.

I have never been so excited about a vacuum cleaner! This one is awesome and so easy to empty the bin. I love never having to replace bags!!! I hate dealing with the inevitable puff of dust everywhere. It's even easy to get the hair out of the rotary brush (I have waist length hair)!!!

This vacuum is the best one I have ever used. By no means do I think a $400+ vacuum is for everyone. However, those who are interested, look no further. It is ideal for multi-surface homes. We have an Australian shepherd, and this thing sucks up all of her hair. This will be our favorite appliance for many years.

We've had Dyson Vacuums before, so my expection was high. Since we had to replace an old one, we thought we'd try the upgrade with the enhanced allergy / pet features. Honestly not sure what that's delivering, but the overall cleaning power is awesome. Disgusting what it pulls from the carpet :)

Our old Dyson stopped working, and based on my wife's insistence we bought a Shark Professional Rotator, since many people claimed it worked as well or better than Dyson. I returned the Shark after one use and went back to a Dyson. The difference in quality and performance is well worth the extra money.

Our Dyson Animal broke after many years of use, so we looked to replace it with another Dyson. The design has evolved and improved over time. This new vacuum is even easier to use and has much more cleaning power. The multiple accessory tools are a bonus.

top quality product with a variety of tools to make cleaning easier. This Dyson replaced a top-rated Hoover that broke twice in 8 months. I tried to take a short cut and paid for it. Dyson means quality, durability and long-lasting. This is my 3rd Dyson and each has consistently outperformed my expectations.

Bought this to replace a Shark that had lost suction. First time using it, I could only clean one room from all the dust, dirt and pet hair from the carpet. After vacuuming the room, the carpet felt softer under my feet
