It does everything it says it should. Has a little trouble on our shag rug but its about 1 1/2-2" thick. Other than that, it works flawlessly. Great design too. Major downside is the price, if you don't have money to splurge there are other good vacuums out there.

I have bought other less expensive vacuums but they are just not that good. They don't work as good as the dyson and they are not made to last any length of time. This dyson will be the last vacuum I buy for a very long time

I went in with my son in his stroller and needed to purchase a vacuum on the spot. They got the one I needed down right away and even took it to my car. The price was even less than it was listed on the website. I felt like it was my lucky day.

The Dyson gets everything that's on the floor. Our previous vacuum was a Shark, and it could not handle the work load that we put this Dyson through.

It is big, bulky and heavy. I still cannot find any instructions for the 10+ attachments even after calling Dyson . They suggested i "Google it." Have given serious thought to returning it!
