My wife has asthma and is allergic to dogs but we found that out after we had four of them! This vacuum really helps her minimize symptoms of her dog allergy and is easy to clean and does an excellent job picking up hair and dirt.

When my last one needed to be replaced, I tried to go with a less expensive model. Big mistake! By far the best vacuum for dog hair and for that matter a house with three long haired girls! Expensive, but worth it!

Great Suction but hard to use

When using the attachments for the hose, the hose wants to pull back on you, making it hard to use the hose attachments. Overall a good vacuum if your not into using the hose and attachments.

Regarding the hose, if you seem to be having difficulty utilizing the hose portion it may be helpful to stretch it out a bit. The hose will naturally coil to avoid wear and tear damage over the years and it is most noticeable when it is new. By going segment-by-segment we can give that hose a stretch and improve this experience.

We have a couple cats, a dog and three kids and this machine gives a fighting chance at keeping up with the dust, dirt, hair, etc. Awesome. Would recommend to anyone

I thought my carpets were clean but when I used the new dyson it sucked up so much dust,dirt and dog hair that I didn’t even know was in my carpet. I would not buy any other brand of vacuum.

It does a wonderful job and the accessories that comes with it are very useful. I use it to clean everything around the house, I also use it to clean the car. This is by far the best vacuum I've ever had.

This machine has no filter to clog and lose suction, plus the air around you smells fresh, proving that it is not throwing dust into the room. Don't waste your money a Shark; get a xdyson.

I am not as happy with this ball dyson as I was with my original. It doesn't stay upright as well. It still works great and we are happy with this choice!

The handle must be locked into place. If it is not, the handle will fall. To lock the handle, place it in the upright position then push the handle forward to secure it. The back wheels will rise from the floor when you push the handle forward, then back down when the handle is released. No looking back, I thought we had good clean rugs until I used the new Dyson! And very easy to maneuver and use. May cost more, but well worth it over the years.
