This is my second Dyson. I love how the vacuum cleans however, it is hard to maneuver, heavy and clumsy. For women with small wrists its hard to move around. I don't like how you have to push on it to make it stand up on its own. Also it tends to be clumsy when lowering the suction head to the surface to be cleaned. It almost sounds like it will break. If you can live with all of this, I recommend it because it cleans well.

We felt crazy buying this expensive vacuum...and it was on sale. Other then some awkward handling, our house has never been so clean. This vacuum delivers.

I loved my 20 year old Hoover self propelled vacuum but replacement parts were impossible to find. After asking friends and reading reviews I decided on the Dyson. Out of the box I loved it. Even without being self propelled it pushes very easily and does a great job cleaning!

I havce been using a Dyson DC10 originally in my home for years and was quite happy with the overall cleaning of that unit. We have 3 cats in our home and one is a shedding long haired tabby. I used the DC10 to clean the living and dining room carpets and then went back over them with the new unit. TALK ABOUT SHOCKED!!! I could not believe the suction power of the new unit! It literally propelled itself away from me and pulled out hair and dirt I never would have expected after using the DC10 on the same areas. The ball makes maneuvering this vacuum around a breeze too.

Dyson may be expensive but it is well worth the price especially if you have a dog that sheds

The newer version of the Dyson vacuum cleaner works better than the one I had before. A little easier to use.

This vaccum cleaner seems to work very good. Used it once and it cleaned the carpet and hardwood very good with less work than my Rainbow.

Have only had for a week or two but its awesome. last month i bought the Dyson V8 and have been using it every other day, its scary to see how dirty my floors were. this big ball Dyson is picking up even more. i've been so impressed with the V8 its been hard to become even more impressed but if it wasn't for the use of the V8 for the last month i would be equally impress with the big ball. this Big ball will pick up more dirt than the V8 and best of all doesn't run out of juice. i have used the V8 then big ball then V8 over the same room just to compare making multiple passes. my old vacuum was an Oreck that my wife got at the local thrift store, we did have it rebuilt but i think it was just warn out prior to us getting it at least compared to these two new vacuums

Purchased this model because we have a dog that sheds. This is an excellent machine with incredible suction. It is heavy though so carrying it up and down stairs adds to the workout while housekeeping.

I have to be honest and say I did not want to buy this item based on price. However, my wife insisted that we get it. I went into Best Buy to see if it was on sale, and there was only one left, so I bought it for her at regular price. I cried all the way home. We put it together, and my wife vacuumed the living room and the stairs, I was amazed at how clean the carpet got. Way better than our existing vacuum. She vacuumed upstairs the next day, and I said, "Aren't you glad I bought this?" In actuality, it was me who was glad. This vacuum is well worth the purchase. I also want to say Mike at the Best Buy in Beavercreek helped me make that leap by being so informative. Thank You, Mike!

Picks up great, but is pretty heavy, and easily tips over back words if time isn't taken to make sure it's on level ground and stable. But my carpets looked and felt much cleaner after the first use, I had been using a named brand vacuum.

Excellent vacuum even though it is expensive purchase. It was fairly simple to assemble and start vacuuming.

Replaced my old Dyson from 4 years ago. The new product is great. Good for our dogs and happy with purchase.

You get what you pay for! It's expensive but Dyson always lasts me at least ten years of excellent suction.

Vacuum is awesome! Carpets are cleaner looking, no sneezing or coughing after playing on the carpet with the kids, less allergy problems with the family.

This vacuum just feels better and seems a lot better constructed than the previous models that had lasted less than a year in our home each with light to moderate use on a majority of wood flooring. The accessory bag is very functional and seems well worth the extra money so far. I'm also excited to never change filters as this model utilizes permanent filters.

Our old DYSON Multifloor ($299) went out (our fault) and we debated getting a Kirby. After visiting the Alamo Ranch Best Buy to learn of and see this bad boy's capability it was a no brainer. This vacuum picked up dust the Kirby Demo team left behind in our carpet. With the zero maintenance filtration system and its ability to extract dust from our carpet like nothing else we've seen, this is hands down the best investment we've made for house cleaning. Well worth the extra $150 to not have to clean, replace or buy any filters or bags. Massive suction and cleaning power. Leaves your carpet clean and warm! Get you one while they're still on sale! The sales associate was thoroughly trained on the operation of this vacuum and provided a comprehensive overview. A must have!

This really is the best vacuum. No bags, no mess! Easy to assemble and ready to go in minutes. The tools are easy to attach and use. The canister is equally easy to empty and no filters to wash. Worth every penny spent. I've owned several brands of vacuum and nothing compares!
